Depression and anxiety disorder is my ocean. Prayers for my mental health please. 🙏🏻 Also, thank you so much for being a constant in my life over the last year. I've laughed and cried with y'all. Love and blessings to you and yours. 💜

Im drowning in school…behind all classes and overwhelmed with whats ahead. Also unprepared for internships…porn addiction and fear hold me in anxiety and depression to face my fear of school…God please dont give up on me. Part the seas of my waters. Amen

My Ocean is vast, deep and gets darker the deeper you go. My Ocean is father and son; seperated by waves of the ocean, drowning any attempt of drawing closer to your own Dad. The Ocean of uncertancy, regret, fear of embarrassment and isolation. The feeling of being invisible while being seen yet not heard.

When I here this song my interpretation is a little different then yours. I hear it as a longing to go deeper in the things of God. Leaving behind the reality of this world into the heavenly realm of God. Where we no longer box in the possibilities of what God can do in our lives. Where we allow his spirit to lead us into the deep.

My kids go to a Christian school, and recently the praise team from the school performed at our church, and they did this song. It was a shorter version, like you might hear on the radio - I’ve heard that songs on the radio never go over four minutes. they completely changed the style of the music, with a lot of energy, right at the beginning, and a faster tempo. It was OK. I thought they did a great job, honestly. But I will always be partial to this version. I found the soundtrack on KZread, and one of these days I’m going to sing it!

I am not exactly sure how you define, "Jesus side" because I am not a Christian

God is GREAT! How can a BEING so powerful, who spoke everything we see and are yet to see into existence, who knows the beginning and the end, who knew this country that he loved would stray so far away, and yet freely provide a way back. With all that we enjoy, we would rather pursue a feeling than our most beloved father. A father who turned his son over to people who hated and despised him for no reason other than they were jealous and fearful of his power, and then allow the demons of hell to take hold of him to try and destroy him for 3 days. Even knowing he would rise from the dead Victorious, with the keys of death, hell and the grave in his grasp... it was still such a terrible price that no one else could pay. And this beautiful country who owes all our power and blessings to him and how he worked through our forefathers with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and the Flag that we should be allowing to unite us, but instead those who see no value in the price that others paid for our country and its freedoms are allowing to divide us. God knew all this would happen, and yet he still looks at each one of us he created in his image and says with no hesitation or malice or anger, "You are worth it to ME." Oh Loving Heavenly Father, we are so unworthy, except that the price you paid makes us worthy. We don't deserve your blessings except you say, You are my children - may it be on earth as it is in heaven...then you pour out blessings that we don't even have room to receive! And what do you ask? Only that we acknowledge that Jesus is your only son who shed his blood and paid the price so we could be worthy to be your children, and receive the gift of you. If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land. It's up to us... Let's choose life ♥️

God has to be bigger than my ocean. My ocean is PTSD and how I respond to triggers..especially within my marriage

I agree. I will say they use emotional music to capture seekers, and for that I’m grateful because they being people into the faith, people like Leonardo who wouldn’t apparently be interested in the things of the Kingdom. While Hillsong is not the ideal “Christian” church or doctrine, they do fill a need that is intrinsic to the church
