I am struggling with resentment toward my daughter in law. She lies to cause problems and my son believes her about my character. I worry because he isnt interested in reading the word of God- says its not necessary. They go to her Luthetan church. I have lots of medical and worried. I keep verbalizing I trust you God. How exactly do I put him first. I feel like I’m trying. I changed my life and live by obedience. Don’t watch tv or listen to worldly music nor have bad habits. I’m waiting for God to restore what the enemy stole. I try to have faith in that daily but it’s a struggle. I know the enemy is close. Wish I had known that a few years ago but now I want to put God first and wait on his purpose for my life. How exactly do I put God first? Am I doing something wrong?

But I turned back to sun even after he had forgiven me and given me more than I asked for. This year I want to just not run back to Him when I sun but find Him in the good places and the blessings. I am in a season of considerable uncertainty. Constantly fighting waves of anxiety and fear. The greatest source of peace and hope is time alone with God each morning. When I am deliberate about this, these fearful thoughts leave me as my perspective and trust in God is restored. Nowhere else can that sense of true peace be found. He has never failed me.
