Thanks Larry! I like the whopper ploppers a lot. But I am very happy with the more subtle "plop" of these. For my skinny water, I think they'll produce more fish. Maybe smaller than the Whopper Plopper, but more I think.

Excellent review, with fish catching proof. That Snakehead got back to the water so quickly, it was like it was running on feet, Lol.

Nothing like the “WHHHRRRRRR” of that drag going out!👊💥🎣 I know Bogoly swears by Truscend and I’ve never tried them. May have to change that this season! Great footage and editing Joe. Nice overview of the product and nice snakehead. Love the colors and looks like they did a real nice job in design and production. Sure are a lot of channels showcasing them so there’s definitely something to it💯!

Great review Joe, that snakehead knocked the fire out of it - looking forward to trying them out myself - but based on the weather here in Louisiana, it is gonna be a little while, we are in the middle of a heavy flood as I am typing this, lots of rain falling on already muddy water - Happy New Year

About a year ago I reached out to Truscend (via Amazon) and never heard back. They must not like me 😢 😂 Glad Angler’s Hangout likes you, though. That lure looks great. Nice design and well made. And the catch of that escape artist is proof they work. Enough about the lures. Your third person camera setup is SICK. Really nice shots from it and it adds a nice touch to your video.

Ya know, I've turned down every other offer I've gotten. The floating net everyone had, the telescoping spinning combo, some gloves..... for some reason I said yes to this one. Glad I did. These are legit the real deal and I'm glad Angler's Hangout reached out to me. Thanks for saying that about the footage. I got another GoPro (10), a real nice tripod, and some other filming toys for Christmas. It's a giant pain in the ass to carry around that extra rig, but I too think the additional angle adds a lot. I was thinking about making some kind of mount for my kayak. Maybe something that locks into the accessory rail that comes on it. Any ideas?

I had all of the footage from Lowe’s done and ran into issues filming the process and then scrapped it. Since we are kind of in between seasons here (no ice but too cold to do much else) I promise I’ll make that video, and this time I’ll keep the promise.

Good looking bait. I'm a big fan of the Whopper Plopper and have tried a few other versions, but castability and performance have always been lacking. These may be the way to go!

Dude these cast way better than I thought they would. They are small and not real heavy. I had zero issues casting them on the 12 pound mono I was using. I'd offer to send ya one, but I'm keeping these! LOL
