Ran these bad boys for a couple of years in my early twenties. Loved it. As someone who sucks at math, I enjoyed the challenge of having to remember the tool measurements, dimensions and problem solving that would be involved when something went wrong. Wouldn't mind doing it again

Trumpf the best!!!! I think this punching machine has technology of future, all Trumpf machines has it.

+Eduardo García del Val Not really Amada has better support and better availability of tooling and parts. Also Amada machines tend to be more forgiving of having the hell crashed out of them.

Amada it's way better , I operatorated both , and trumpf it's so easy to set up but they break down all the time amadas run forever

I trained on that machine when I was out there 6 years ago. Blew my mind!!

I have never seen one this clean and not beat up. We have 2 at work and they look like a bomb went off beside them.

This thing is all sorts of bad ass on so many levels.

I've only operated amada turrets, I've ran Cincinnati lasers, Mitsubishi lasers, amada lasers​. but this punch is bad ass.

There's no comparation this its cnc I admire the job that the people do on manual machines but this its just amazing.

I like cnc opareating ,verry good

The tools sit on the bar that moves the sheet x/y. Sometimes you see it "taking" and "giving" tools to the punching head. There are about 20 positions to simply hook the tool holders in, each one contains bottom die and blade.

This system consider semi CIM where there is not human interfere of processeing.

hmm very nice still prefer a pullmax with an etm and full fms

I just work on a Trumatic 600L and L3030, but... this sounds awesome....... 600L is fast, but this... faster than a machine gun

I see that it can do in-situ folding, but that's actually really nothing groundbreaking, as Euromac has been doing that for years. What IS groundbreaking about these machines is that they can perform twenty punches per second!

+douro20 They can but it takes longer for it to change tools. On the Amada you can have 3 tools in a row only the ram moves. Also even on the newer vipros you can edit the tool length, tool shut height, and hover height and it will get around 600 hits per minute nibbling.

The 6000L does 1200 P/m. You can have mini tools in the cassette, they were doing this way before Amada ever did, they were using mini bending kit, slitting wheels and screw threading, hover heights and everything else you both mention when I worked for them over 10 years ago you don't shim the tool lengths like the old amadas either with standard turret tools, never have done it always worked out with hover heights in the software to alter the tool lengths compensation

but lasers can only cut. surely the major benefit of a punch with C axis rotation is that, with the right tooling, you can perform a multitude of forming operations.
