It is pretty interesting that this was all a consequence of Trunks time traveling. It was almost cool to finally have some consequences in Dragon Ball, but of course the gods just undo everything in the end

zamasu and trunks literally are unrelated. what trunks did in z has no importance to super. zamasu was on his war path regardless of trunks entirely.

Through what emotion oh yes RAGE Im pretty sure they wanted to give him god ki considering he has been fighting gods and alongside Goku and vegeta as SSB so he would have been around it enough to possibly transform but they made that stupid rule of only full saiyans being able to use it.

@@slawton17And Beast is not an SS2 type-ultimate form with a UI hair color scheme cop out form as well if we’re gonna go by that logic, well that’s just obviously not the case since it’s actually it’s own thing being apart of gohan’s mind & body but as for SS rage this form is also it’s own thing as well in that it’s a form derived from the super saiyan 1, Grade 2&3, 2 states with it being put on an transcend level because of the kaioshin training future trunks went through over many years along with the internal mindset anger emotional boost he tapped into to unleash the form’s ability of usage in the first place which is something that is used for almost every other transformation that has been reached in series even for characters in the series who are not saiyans so in fact the rage name makes even more sense as well too because of it being an common component to the obtaining usage of showcasing super saiyan powers.

Seriously the goku black arc and the TOP should've been switched. The stakes seem to be at their highest in this arc to the point the dragon ball GOD had to erase the universe because they couldn't even comprehend zamasus power anymore. Ultra instinct vs merged zamasu would have been lit asf

Yeah now that I think about it, they could've built Zamasu up to be the biggest villain. Though they would still have to make zamasu take The other Goku's body after the universe 6 vs 7 tournament or Goku black would be way too OP. It would've pushed Zamasu to the edge knowing Goku uses the most divine technique of the gods lol.

Pretty sure Jiren wouldn't have a clue what to do once zamasu basically merged with the timeline and started bleeding into other timelines. No villian has or probably ever will do that again in Dragon Ball

Plus it makes way more sense for Zamasu to be pissed at Goku unlocking Ultra Instinct and taking his body.

Definitely Vegeta's son, has the highest potential coming from a bloodline that was raised the best. Most consistent genetics for being a powerful Saiyan with generations of powerful Saiyans.

You really don't know your Dragon Ball. God form takes a calm mind and heart and containing the energy within your body. SSJ3 requires an insane amount of energy and effort. There's a reason why the form doesn't actually kill anyone. It burns through too much energy. Trunks having a semi unique form is better, because of the kind of training skill and ability he has. Don't forget like Gohan with his Beast form. Hybrids are capable of variants on the SSJ transformations. SSJ3 sucks as a form. It's cool looking but that's it. So if anything maybe SSJG possibly however Trunks does gain that form in Dragon Ball heroes. So he does Technically get God form.

Yeah they definitely should’ve given him SSJ3 or God ki, if Vegeta can go red/blue then Trucks should be given the right as well. He is the only who actually finishes fight quick, unlike Goku, Gohan, Jiren, and Vegeta. Even Omega Shenron was like ‘fuck this’ when SSJ4 Goku n Vegeta tried to fuse.

What they did to Trunks in this arc was dirty. Trunks should have been a lot more powerful than this. He even went back in time to allow Goku and Vegeta to train in the time chamber. Why didn't Trunks join them especially after Vegeta basically called him a puss for running away. He could have gotten stronger and possibly found a new form that was an improved Super Saiyan 3 or something beyond that. He saw Gohan and his mom get killed by Black, but this was as far as he could go? No. I don't believe it. For fks sake Trunks couldn't even match up to Goku's SSJ3. All this just so they could push his romance with... what's her name? Mai?

"You worked hard and discovered how to crack Space Time without a God's help? SHAME ON YOU!" They didn't think that one through.
