For someone who's not a Trump supporter, Mr Dershowiz took a surprisingly benevolent view of the Trump defence and dismissive view of the prosecution. I hope Times Radio intends to inject some balance into its reporting of this potentially politically significant case by interviewing a lawyer with an alternative view, or listeners may be left with a very skewed picture of what's going on. I would suggest Glenn Kirschner (from the YT channel Justice Matters) would be a good counterbalance.

@@leesamardzija9165 Clearly Mr Dershiwitz has a particular point of view on the subject; I'm suggesting Times Radio do the proper thing for a news source that aims to be objective, and balance that POV with another one by a highly experienced lawyer, which also represents a view held by many experts, but tells a different story. I was only surprised they didn't do this in the one video, rather than having to do a second one. It rather makes it appear the interviewee is some sort of voice of authority on the subject, giving a well-founded and generally agreed view, which would be misleading. Since there's quite a divergence here in the way different legal experts are interpreting this case, obviously it would be most informative for the general public to hear both POVs, side by side, so they can make up their own minds which seems closer to the truth - or failing that, to simply be properly informed of the divergent POVs currently doing the rounds.

Michael Cohen's proof and credibility is his jail-card regarding this case, Alan!

Absolutely correct, to a large extent the 'embarrassing' details from Daniels are, and Trump's lead lawyer whining about what she was allowed to say is pathetic, it was his job to object if he thought her testimony shouldn't be allowed but he sat on his hands. The judge told him so.

How can the crime not be stated yet? If it is beyond the statute of limitations how is the case still going?

I would encourage everybody to go back and look at her testimony about this in 2011. In the in touch interview you can find it there’s a drastic difference then and her statements now. Looks to me like some weapon cream really got put on top of the situation, and I’m not a Republican and I didn’t vote for Trump last time but there’s some serious discrepancies when you look at different interviews

Dershowitz is correct. Anyone who follows this case will know that this has nothing to do with the sex or the hush money. It’s all about how the hush money was filed and paid. The money paid is perfectly legal. It’s all about accountancy behind the payment and whether or not it could be construed as a crime under federal law because Trump was a presidential candidate at the time. All US lawyers that I’ve listened to state that this case is highly dubious because there is no apparent crime. On top of this the time for prosecution has already lapsed and originally even Alvin Bragg didn’t consider it worthwhile pursuing this. However when Trump decided to go for a second term this extremely weak case was resurrected. It is very clear to anyone looking at this from an objective standpoint point that this is a clear case of political warfare. Unfortunately most people seem stuck in the TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) having been programmed repeatedly by the pro liberal MSM.

Trump falsified business records and documents to hide his affair with Daniels to cover up any damage it might do to his 2016 campaign. That is the crime. Cheques, documents, notes and audio recordings tell the story. Trump desperately wanted to hide the whole Stormy Daniels situation and broke the law doing so. The very damaging access Hollywood tape came out only a few weeks before he paid off Daniel’s. This is an election case. Election interference committed by Trump and others.
