Not most of Canada, Canada is a democracy, thus no electoral college Toronto and most of Ontario and Vancouver reelected Trudeau. The House of Commons is no longer his majority. The Prairies, Northern Territories and just about everyone except those in Ontario did not vote for him. Calgary is crying.

Countries may be delinquent in payment but at least they pay their debts unlike Trump.

Well Russia already gives Germany and many of the European NATO allies oil, natural gas, and energy resources. It doesn't make sense. NATO was created in response to the growing threat of the Soviet Union yet Trump complained last year, "Why is NATO not paying up? Why are we supposed to protect against Russia taking over Europe when Germany is buying natural gas, oil, and other energy resources". Trump isn't opening the door for Russia.

cakaziefno yo you do realize the NFL and two NHL teams filed for the same bankruptcy as well as a million other businesses, it’s not a real bankruptcy and just a business strategy. But let’s just say it was a real bankruptcy and Trump did actually go bankrupt like you idiots like to believe, if so, then the fact that Trump was actually able to bounce back and still be a billionaire and still be as successful as he is just shows how smart and successful he truly is. And after Obama actually bankrupt this country, then I would want someone like Trump with the knowledge and experience to fix this nations national debt.

@@garynorton8122 A. Him gaming the legal system was a detriment to every contractor who worked for him. It may not have been illegal, but it was amoral. He knows how to cheat and swindle his way out of financial obligations. Knowing how to benefit himself at the expense of others is not the type of person you want fixing anything. It's like saying you want a group of thieves who strip cars for parts to be your mechanics, doesn't make much sense. B. No president directly controls the economy, so, your question is moronic.

Here's the thing about the US and NATO: NATO needs the US, the US doesn't need NATO. One of the campaign promises Trump has not followed through on was to get the US out of NATO (or reduce our role to no more than any other nation).

There's no need of nato if leaders really need peace

Trump is strategically and arithmetically challenged. Each NATO country pays for it's own defense expenditure, they don't pay into a common budget. The fact that the US spends more of it's GDP on defense is a function of 2 things: 1) When you are the world's largest economic power, you have more discretionary spending power (just like rich people vs. poor people) 2) The US has defense commitments and interests outside the NATO area, e.g. the Asia/Pacific region. In fact, the US has 800 overseas bases. And yet despite this, Trump is constantly asking allies (e.g. Japan, Korea) to pay many times more to the US than previously, because he views the world in purely transactional terms; as if the only beneficiary of US overseas bases was the host country. Fortunately, he won't be the US President forever...

I know this comment is 3 years old, but it benefits hindsight. One thing Trump called NATO out on during his presidency was the fact that Germany made a deal with Russia to build a pipeline (Nord Pipeline). So much so that Germany essentially made itself largely dependent on Russia for its energy. However Germany is a NATO ally, one of the main objectives of NATO is to defend Europe, especially the eastern European states from Russia. Yet you have Germany essentially making Russia more powerful by essentially doing energy-business with them. That was extremely dumb and fast-forward to 2022, you have an emboldened Russia invading Ukraine. Say what you want about Trump, but he was 100% right on this. So you can't call him "strategically challenged".

The deal maker just cannot take criticism nor can he handle the truth. Now they hurt his little feelings and he is coming home. What a baby. An embarrassment to our great nation.

He has always voted for democrats.He said the country does better when democrats are in control. Do a little research. He is acting out a play. He knows most of the people that support him are ignorant. This is the most corrupt group we have had in office in my lifetime and I have been around for a long time.
