i am proud too have muslim frriends. one family i went too college with really got through a rough time in my life ( the father in particular) i was dating a guy i was really serious about but he was pressuring me too have sex ( and i was and still am planning on saving my virginity until marriage) i told my friend about it and he told me too go with my heart and my gut ( that if bradley loved me he would wait and understand) -- i am glad i listened to his advice because i found out bradley was sleeping with several women behind my back. it was so hard for me emotionally. and this family is such a caring family they all was there for me in this tough point in my life. i was ready to end my life and my self esteem was at a low point but the son told me i was a good woman that GOD will find someone special for me one day he told me i was a beautiful woman with a heart of Gold. this meant the world too me. i dont want too say their names or anything because i dont want anyone disrespecting them. they were there for me and one day i had too be there for them too. one day at school i heard these college students ( a man and a women) talking about how my muslim friends were terriost and murders and were going too bomb the school just because they were muslim. i was so angry and upset because these people are good people and wouldnt harm anyone for any reason that i could think of. so i stood up for them and told them what pigs they were for judging someone before knowing them. NO human has a right too judge anyone esle since we are all sinners only GOD can judge us) and even if you arent a believer there is bad and good in alot of people not just on one specific gender/race/religion..

It's honestly really fun to be Agnostic. I like asking people why they believe a certain way and what caused them to believe in that way. Sadly, I get a lot of "because I was raised to believe this way" with no further explanation. Which is more of a fallacy than an actual reason. All and all though, it's enjoyable to hear different opinions to try and form my own.

MrLiberali "I was raised that way" actually is a bit of a legitimate reason. If you are raised drinking soda, your family is likely to cause you to have a preference of Coke over Pepsi or vice versa. it's not that they would suggest that one is superior to the other it's just that people tend to make a choice and then once that choice is made individuals recommend certain things and we bend to these recommendations. As a small child we have no choices because without experience children have no points of reference, we take the only thing that's offered and we simply request more of it or less of it. from this point we only have a need to make a choice if we have a problem with that first choice we were offered. religion is the same but you also add in usually the teaching that it's a sin to question this religion so unlike the rest of things in life with religion we don't experiment we don't question we don't test our own because if we have any faith in any religion then we're most likely taught that one of the main course of that is not to question it. by the time you get old enough to start questioning if you are filled with years of ignorance and then you get attacked you that ignorant as you start to question this is just the life that we are maturing into at this time. but thanks to you for questioning and thinking

I am not religious, in fact I am an atheist, but that was such a beautiful video it made me tear up. All I want is for people to get along and live together in peace and harmony and love one-another, regardless of religion or lack-thereof. I have read the entire Bible, the Bhagavad-Gita, the Torah, and a great deal of the Qu'ran, and regardless of the fact that most of the belief systems and "laws one must live by" that are included in them (however irrelevant and antiquated by today's standards, and some of the teachings are just horrible and quite insane) I do not believe in... what I love about them is their (for the most part) teachings of loving one-another and doing unto others as you would have done unto yourself (and I must point out that I do not need a book, etc, to give me good morals and basic love and kindness for others). The part that is heartbreaking and terrifying to me is that there are fundamentalists who cherry-pick and twist the scriptures to suit their needs and beliefs and take everything in them literally and often result to such extremes that they kill others in the name of their religion. I am all for religious freedom, it just scares the crap out of me that a lot of these people's beliefs are directly contradicted by solid scientific evidence and that they are trying to get these beliefs taught in school as fact (such as creationism.. uggggh... AWWWFUL) and that is NOT OKAY. I am all for a "religious studies" class that's purpose is to educate kids about other religions so that they may know what's out there and allow them to make their own decision about what or whom they want to believe in when they are mature enough to make this decision for themselves. But anyway, back to the point. Trump is a deplorable human being, but it was so beautiful to see people become more open-minded and kind and accepting of one-another. Love it. Absolutely love it. :o)

It's Malaysia :D the people are very friendly and very nice, there's so many races and religion but it's hardly to see or hear any problem about race and religion issue compared to America xD I had a great time living here plus one thing I solute the most about them, it's reaaallyyy difficult to hear them swear or say bad words, American swear almost everytime something is coming out of their mouth (not all but mostly does, it's kind of dissappointing to see kids around 10 years old to even do so), this country I'm living now have like 60% muslim, 10% christian, 10% buddha, 10% hindu, another 10% are sikh, atheist, etc but I'll have to say, this country are crazy peaceful and nice xD

More like the 'awkward' silence after she edited the video, and intentionally took out music during that part to make it seem awkward. Also the way she asks the question is awkward and implicative itself. More like the lady making the video intended it to be awkward. If you watch the fat guy in the front seat there is very little difference in his eyes, voice, and facial expression at 2:22 and in the car scene before that (which had music playing to make it seem more festive), indicating he himself does not consider it to be any more or less awkward than it was before. The whole car ride was probably silences followed by those little question/answers, since it really is the job of the interviewer who asked them to come along to lead the conversation. Lets be real.

In the Star Wars movies I'm am on the Dark Side of the force. But when u put American Star Wars view I'm with the Jedi Democrats hahahaha.... Trump is known as Darth Trumpleskin in American Star Wars hahahaha!!!!!!

I agree. From my prospective None of the candidates is good to be a US president. Both have serious issues from leaked emails to X cell phone to tax returns ...etc. I would blame the parties that supports them and picked them as representative for them. Honestly, at this point none of them will matter as both have serious issues to deal with but at the end people will pick one of them. None of the things Trump promised will happen, neither anything will change except people now will be more violence towards other races/colors/cultures..etc as if Trump win -> Green light for them!

So many fears would be alievated if more people would just TALK! we fear what we don't understand, so why not have a conversation. Like these men did. I'm sure any Muslim, Christian or otherwise would be happy to answer any questions pertaining to their beliefs rather than simply being attacked because we don't understand the other. Peace and love for ALL.

In parts of Sweden we have this thing called language-friends if you translate it directly. Me and my family are part of it (it's run by volunteers). Through it we got in contact with a family of immigrants (muslim, if that matters) . They're now family friends and we learn their culture and their ways and they learn the swedish language and our culture. It's a really cool thing and if you just TALK, you learn so much. I think the whole world would benefit from a similar thing.

This video is B.S. I lived in Kuwait; Trump's plan for a temporary band to work on a better vetting process is correct. I also have many Muslim friends and they agree we need to have a better vetting process.

Melanie Marroquin I disagree, which is why I made it. I attended a Masque in Kuwait and read the Qur'an and some of the Hadith's. I still talk with many of my Muslim Friends. They agree that we need better vetting, they don't want to have blood shed or force Islam on others. Peace be upon you.

I would agree, when you say "Oh we need a better vetting process to make sure that we are taking the precautions to protect the safety of our citizens" People, especially the far left tend to hear "All Muslims are terrorist!" There is even a campaign to stop the term "Islamic terrorism" The probably comes from our generation from the moment we started learning, we were taught tolerance. And there is nothing wrong with that to a certain degree, we should teach tolerance and acceptance. Support gays, support people of different cultures and backgrounds. However, it becomes a problem when we are still preaching tolerance louder than we are opening discussion. If you say, you want a better vetting process from Muslim countries with ties to terrorist organizations then more than likely you will be called a xenophobe and a racist. What should happen is a dialogue and an learning that there are different sects, there is also fundamentalism, and extremist within the religion. A discussion on the differences between Wahhabi sect, moderate Islam, Shiite and Sunni should come into play. But it doesn't because racist! and Islamaphobe! are trump cards used to derail constructive conversation The messed up part about it is that the people mean well, believe it or not. But it also comes from a place of self righteousness. In their minds they believe that tolerance is always right, even when that tolerance can lead to dangerous situations. Vetting, is not Islamophobia, ... Immigration reform is severely needed for all those migrating to the U.S. Also, people on the right need to understand that if you pull up the death toll for those killed by ISIS, Al queda and other terrorist organizations that they will find that often it is Muslims who are their main victims. When we say say we need vetting, it is also to protect the Muslim-Americas in our country who are also our citizens. Us denying Islamic terrorism, is a great disservice to those who are moderate Muslims living peacefully in our country.

My husabnd was the same way, he is muslim but not arab, but he talked to a bunch of arabs who were pissed about the ban "well, where are the terrorists coming from? What way do we know they arent infiltrating America?" they eventually agreed...

Isn't it better for America to stop terrorising Muslim countries and that way there would be no Muslims trying to terrorise America back. There is no smoke without fire and it seems to me that American politicians and mainstream media as well as some other western countries are in denial about the real reasons why a minority of Muslims want to attack them. I guess it's a problem of empire at the end of the day America is an empire and therefore it doesn't acknowledge it's own crimes against humanity but rather scapegoats all Muslims for a cycle of violence created by the empire.

i think she.he meant don't hate someone because of their religion, you can hate them because of their acts. so stop hating muslims, hate ISIS instead. i can tell you that some of ISIS, if not, most of them don't even pray and don't know what jihad means. In the Quran, they forbid to kill children or women, even when it's a war. which means ISIS is not muslim.
