Yes they can, and they actually are obligated to turn them over to any candidate that asks for them by law. Each candidate has a right to check. In fact, based on the Confidence in Elections Act, Trump was allowed to go even farther. According to that law, if there's a question about election integrity, the VP "shall not certify" those election results until the Supreme Court holds a session where the chief justice shall preside and the results shall be on hold and the voting records investigated by each candidate or their representatives "for a minimum of 10 days and as long after as it shall take." There's more to the law you can read it if you like, but the process is extremely intensive, and thankfully so. I don't want the elections being manipulated, I want them to be so secure nobody could question them. But that's not the case right now.

I believe trump pays business advisors and strategists to feed him various ideas on how to achieve certain goals, and then he has lawyers review these potential plans to help make certain these plans still fall into the legal category. If you read my comment, you will see that their reporting was false because they misconstrued his words (they twisted the meaning of his words) their reporting was based off an “anonymous source” and they claimed that WaPo has “independently verified the source’s claim” The report from WaPo came out first, followed two months later the Secretary of Georgia released the audio recording. He didn’t demand them to “find me some ballots” instead, he was asking them “scrutinize” the ballots in Fulton county, Georgia.. you would find some “dishonesty” there. They also said he told her that she would be a national hero.. but, he didn’t. He said she had the most important job in the country right now. “The Washington Post has added a lengthy correction to a bombshell report from early January that had said then-President Trump told Georgia's top elections investigator during a phone call to "find the fraud" and that they would be "a national hero" if they did so. "Two months after publication of this story, the Georgia secretary of state released an audio recording of President Donald Trump's December phone call with the state's top elections investigator. The recording revealed that The Post misquoted Trump's comments on the call, based on information provided by a source," the Post said Thursday in a 129-word correction published atop the story. "Trump did not tell the investigator to 'find the fraud' or say she would be 'a national hero' if she did so. Instead, Trump urged the investigator to scrutinize ballots in Fulton County, Ga., asserting she would find 'dishonesty' there. I think Trump wanted to be called the President, and enjoy all of the money making schemes he had planned, but didn't actually want to do the work of a President. I tend to get a bit worked up when it comes to Covid because I'm a nurse working on a COVID-19 unit for the past 8 months, so I've seen what that ignorance, recklessness, and irresponsibility can do. As predicted, our hospitalizations started to increase 2 weeks after he held a rally here, and the deaths followed that by about 3 weeks. I hate to think how many lives could have been spared if only Trump had taken it seriously from the beginning. We needed competent, selfless, straightforward, honest, and research/science driven leadership... unfortunately we had Trump the lying cheerleader instead, and tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of our fellow Americans lost their lives as a result. I've seen more deaths over the last few months, than over my entire 20 year long career, and it's heartbreaking. Several people have called me a triggered snowflake for admitting that, as if it was some kind of insult, but I'm ok with those labels; we should all be triggered and saddened by the loss of a half of a million Americans to covid in just under a year. The worst part of it is that it didn't have to happen. Now, covid was always going to come here, and we were always going to lose a lot of lives, that was unavoidable...but it didn't have to last this long, and we didn't have to lose so many. The other parts were reworked into an infrastructure act which has helped a lot, though still not nearly enough, with improvements to our failing infrastructure. Some remaining parts became the inflation reduction act, which reduces our deficit, lowers drug prices, and invests in domestic energy production. All in all, pretty good. It's really unfortunate how many cuts republicans demanded, which definitely reduced the positive impact. It's like they actively want to hurt people or something. But at least the democrats were able to negotiate a lot of good out of it despite republican efforts.

That poor man he’s had time to have a bath walk his dog when he come back and trump will still be whining on

The longer he talked the more he lied. Nothing new, He done it all his life. Even his College Friends said He always lied. I think he fits the Bill of a Habitual Liar. Ask his Niece she grow up with him.

It’s almost like every time he pauses and says “uh” it’s to think up another lie.

Ten minutes in and I've not heard anyone but Trump rambling.
