While his choices may have not done as well, that won't matter. There have been a few for some time now preferred someone other than Trump, you have to leave your echo chamber to hear them. In the end he will run, he will not have any serious challenge from his own party and ultimately liberals, progressives...whatever they calling themselves this week will be throwing temper tantrums again. What democracy are you protecting? There's no mention of democracy anywhere in the US founding documents at all. Certainly not in the Constitution. Turns out Republicans hate the Republican Party only slightly less than they hate the Democrat Party. Now if Democrats would figure out what the Democrat party is doing to them and join the rest of The People in ousting the unconstitutional parties that have usurped The People's authority and freedoms. Then perhaps the U.S. might be able to stop being the most litigious society on Earth in all of human history, and instead become the land of the free it was intended to be before These so called right-left Partisan Oligarchies took over the electoral process and thus the government. Parties literally exist to divide the populace, and place people loyal to conglomerate (and therefore foreign) interests into positions of authority and power. The politicians get wealthy instead of you. You are stuck with laws instead of liberties, leaders instead of representatives, and privileges instead of rights. No matter which one wins, you lose, and no matter what they promise, you pay double for it. Parties have no constitutional authority to be part of voter registration, nor chose delegates, nor act as intermediaries between levels of government nor enterprises. It's not just a conflict of interest, it's straight up legalized corruption, even if you don't believe as Nancy Pelosi, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump do, that the elections are being rigged by partisan forces for the benefit of foreign interests.

Right now Adam Frisch, Boebert's opponent, is only 64 votes ahead of her (see why YOUR VOTE COUNTS?) and 95% of the ballots have been counted. I can't stand BoBo. Fingers crossed that she will lose, even if there's a (probable) recount.

Don't forget all the people who believed Bobert when she said elections are rigged. They listened to her and stayed home . Who would've thought "They don't count your vote" would not be a good election strategy for getting people to vote.

i get so angry when they call fettermen 'mentally defective.' a stroke doesn't always affect your cognitive ability. It can affect your ability to speak, sure, but your mind and stuff is fine. my mom had an aneurysm burst and she sometimes has trouble putting words together, but she's as sharp as always. gods. its infuriating.

Yeah. I don't watch Tucker so I couldn't have said before this how scummy he is but that made me gasp out loud. Honestly, Fetterman is a very classy guy for not just hunting Tucker down and shaping his knees in half.

Miss. Lindsey is like a ship in the ocean, not only move around with the winds but with waves too.

I'm originally from ATL, so despite the relatively good news of the day, I took the results down there pretty hard and have been in a bad funk since this morning (like Seth, I went to bed early last night 'cause I just couldn't take it). But thank you to the Late Night team for putting a smile on my face like they always do. 😌

I known its nerve wracking and it always has far reaching implications, especially for minority groups particularly at risk.. but after you cast your vote and encourage and help those around who can vite, theres nothing you can do. Turn it off and don’t check until Thursday morning. There’s no point in making yourself sick over the results and the hysteria in the media, instead use Wednesday to reset so you’re more ready to face the results Thursday.

Unfortunately, the third party candidate split the vote. However, in the runoff it will be Warnock against Walker so the outcome will be decisive.

The beauty of a Bobbert loss is that we will not have to watch her strut up and down a stage in her high heeled cowboy boots.

My other favorite Pittsburghese words- yinz (you ones, Pittsburgh y'all) and n'at (and that) To use n'at properly it should be added to the end of every few sentences. A good example: "Yinz going dahntahn after the stillers game, n'at?" (Are you planning on going downtown after the steelers game?)

I out grew using "younz" and refused to go back to that. Then I moved to Reading,and now people say "yous"

But the republicans hold a majority in the house now and possibly the senate. It’s called a balance of power. There should never be a one majority rule. That is very dangerous. There should always be checks and balances. Don’t ever think that your party is all righteous and perfect. We all need to work together and get along to get things done. 😉

Its important to have discussions, but when one parties entire platform is "own the libs" they're incentivized to prevent the "libs" from passing anything even if it would help their constituents. The right has no policies right now besides massive tax breaks for the rich. We need ranked choice voting so we can have more than 2 parties because there isn't a decision for anyone at the moment

Brilliant job, as always, Seth. I have never been prouder to be a Pensylvanian. We held the line, and didn't send a liar and a thief to the senate, or a lunatic to the governor's office. But we are not done yet, folks. Let's join together to all fix this wondrous and completely unlikely thing which is our tremendous country. Get up, stand up, don't give up the fight.

We need a qualification exam for political seat holders. I was #2 at a municipal wastewater treatment plant and I had to score in the top 3 of a civil service exam to qualify - after having been a city comptroller and controller of a private manufacturing factory with a degree in operations management. My boss, the superintendent, also had to not only be in the top 3 of the exam for his position, but also have achieved a Class 5 Operator's license administered by the Dept. of Enviro. Consv. And this was just to treat poop. A president should have to have been a state governor or a general/admiral; a governor must have been a mayor. These are not entry-level positions. No more of this celebrity crap. There should be a bar exam like lawyers must pass to wield such power. And a psychological evaluation. Never a Trump again. Never a Walker or Bohbert or Greene again. We need intelligence in government. Not popular seat fillers of one of only two major parties.

Seth does one of the best mocking impressions of Tucker out there, love it man, that human tire fire deserves how beautifully you mock him
