It’s healthy to be critical of the news presented, especially in this sort of situation. The news and the government hasn’t shown itself to be honest with the public in recent years. I harken back to the “mostly peaceful protests” where people lost their homes and lives while the news outlets claimed the protests were full of people just gathering together and marching down the streets.
