I would say there are two main reasons. One is that to many it seems apparent that Joe Biden will not win the election, and believe that replacing him with another candidate would increase the chances of winning against Donald trump. Second, they do not believe he can continue to do another four years competently. While often times past success can be predictors of the future, when you add in other factors like age decline and evidence that support the idea that he will not have sufficient cognitive abilities over the next four years, it leads people to believe he will be unqualified for president. It seems that many democrats have been questioning the idea of whether Biden is fit or not. The debate was a critical tipping point for many on both those points, whether Biden will lose to Donald Trump whom many believe to threaten democracy, and whether Biden is even be up to task to run another four years in the first place.

When is corporate media going to quit harping on Biden and the debate? If they want to play like a single debate is so important let them focus now on Trump.When will they start talking about the real issues? Like policy. Like Biden's accomplishments vs Trump's accomplishments. How about the media educate Americans on Project 2025. Democracy vs Autocracy.

That’s it. She presents poorly and is not a good politician. She worked her way up in California by sleeping with Willy Brown. She is attorney. She was a mediocre prosecutor. She was not chosen as VP because of her skills. She covered two major groups Biden did not. Being “non- white” and female. Those were her qualifications. Kamala Harris has accomplished nothing as VP. That’s not her fault. Joe Biden doesn’t like her. He does not want a working VP. The only recent president that had a working VP was Bush Jr because he needed some one who knew what to do and Dick Cheney did. Joe Biden did nothing as Obama’s VP. He was locked up in a back room. Biden has done the same with Harris. Typically, the president and vice president is not a team. The VP is the back up plan for if and when the president dies or becomes incapacitated. The Bush Cheney ticket is the only two who worked together in the last 50 years. Kamala Harris cannot control herself when she gets nervous. She does not, has not, and never will look Presidential.
