i think when you put your 110% into something, its natural for it to be emotional. i love players like truls that show emotion in all form (not just people who robotically cho after every point and nothing else)

It's a really good question, but I don't think even Truls himself can answer that one. Just some days you're on fire and focused like a laser and some days you're not. Although in the last three sets against Alexis he proved he can do it. Felix is now his bogeyman.

LeBrun plays better than Duda. You will make more mistakes against a stronger player. Hence why this was easier.

Truls surely played with passion in that match against Felix. The reason why he lost was that Felix was just too consistent. I mean Felix have improved a lot these years. And he had won European Games single title. Thus we should not underrate Felix.

Players like Benedikt Duda seem to be unable to wrap the ball around and are mostly based around a dumb technique that involves very short strokes and minimal thin ball contact. The players that are taught this short stroke brush technique will never get anywhere to the top.
