A tour of the remains of some of the Japanese land-based installations at Truk Lagoon, including Airport Island and Dublon seaplane base. The fish factory is quite recent, but Japanese.

Fascinating video! I made a brief visit to Dublon island on an Air Force C-130 in 1977. We were on the ground for about an hour, enough to get a few snapshots. I would love to see it again someday. Thanks for the video!

The music is an arrangement of the Smartsound track 'Song of the Crane' from their album 'Across Borders'.

Why do you play a distinctly Japanese song when they only stole control over the island for about 5 years and murdered all the polynesians and natives who originally occupied the islands
