Truffle Hunting in Tuscany
Today I will be taking you with me to the forests of San Miniato outside Pisa in the Tuscany region of Italy. San Miniato is known as the "capital" of the White truffle and with our expert guide, Massimo, and his dog Geo, we hope to find one of these rare treasures!

This was brilliant! My kids loved seeing the process - we had a discussion about scenting things out which led to truffles and your video. It was very educational and inspiring, and they are keen to try this on our next trip to Tuscany. We are very familiar with San Miniato so you never know, we may follow in your footsteps!

You can fly to Florence and then take the train to Piza or ask Masimo to give you coordinates. Tuscany is magnificent. You must visit the surrounding areas for not only truffles but wine, cheese,gelato and the beautiful hill towns Currently I am staying at an apartomento holiday stay and I will visit Arezzo, Cortona, Florence, many more places as well as Venice where I will fly home to Canada. You must visit. Italy is awesome. 😊
