My pleasure Mary
We used to make our own butter from the cream we got at the dairy farm.. Taught my granddaughter how to do it and she thought it was amazing! Never had truffles they are so very expensive.. maybe will have to try the oil.. Thanks for the Truffle butter

Making butter is amazing!
Using the mixer is definitely a better option than the one I learned as a child! We put cream in a jar and shook it until our arms were numb lol

Angela I can bearly imagine how much work that it... its almost as bad for a butter churn!
Reminds me of summer holidays on my Oma and Opa's farm. They had raw milk delivered, we'd scrape the cream off the top, and I'd get sat at the table with a bowl of cream and an egg beater. Butter... eventually. 🤣 I threatened my kids with this activity the last time their internet was down. For some reason teens of today aren't as thrilled with "manual labour as a fun time" as I was as a kid in the 80s. 😁

Americans are thinking buttermilk biscuits, to put the truffle butter on! Nugget Noggin has the recipe for them, I'm sure. These mushroom and truffle videos always bring to mind Martin Walker's Dordogne set "Bruno, Chief of Police" mystery series, which always features French cooking and eating, village style. Wish I could pull up a seat in your kitchen.

Adding different ingredients to butter is awesome!
I remember making butter in primary school. We all took turns shaking a jar of heavy cream until it turned into butter. I have never tasted a truffle before.

Looking great Bill! Saw the Marmite on the shelf, wondered why it was there? One of my favorites. Buttermilk is often talked about in books as a great cold drink. On that I do agree and it makes chicken so tender if you marinate in it over night too! Any baking you add it to as well.

@@mikerhodes9198 Dont worry too much when you are making the cheese. If you think its gone wrong, drain off the whey, add salt, let it drain more overnight and eat it as breakfast cheese. :)
