Get a battery Booster pack. It's a lot safer than jumper cables.. You can buy them at Home Depo. I also have jumper cables but Mercedes don't like Booster cables so be cateful.

Great helpful video, thank you. I just had an issue that while working long hours in my S class, the battery died out, boosted it and all is good but the trunk will pop open ( via grab handle )but it just won’t go up or down automatically. I can only do it manually. Tried a reset numerous times with the inside green button, but no joy. Any suggestions ?

Have you check the fuse? I did a video on a broken driver side trunk switch recently. You can check that video for the fuse location

Mr Robinson Wayne I have a 2016 SLAMG 63 with a Auxiliary Battery Failure. I could not find anywhere where that battery is and I stumbled onto your site yesterday (6 Apr). Now I Know . I am slowly getting the trim off but the top mechanism really complicates it but it is coming.slowly apart and using your video I was able to get the part number and O'Reily's will have a battery for me this afternoon . I think I can get that side cover off and then follow your directions. I tried to find a shop manual to download without success. Any suggestions. I must compliment your on excellent professional videos. I am going to watch each of your videos. I am a retired Prosthodontist so I have the patience needed to wrench on my cars here in Cape Coral or Annapolis during the summer. Thank you Oscar

I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. Thanks. You can go to Ebay and do a search for your make and model car manual. You will probably get a huge selection. You can get a CDROM or you can by the manual online and download it to your computer and start there. You will need a huge amount of space on your computer if you go that route.

My center console has i phone charge but it takes up the whole console can not fit anything in it. What a waste .any thing i can do ? Maybe take it out ?Can i? Yours is nice and small(the console charge) mine sits up just under the hinged door . Love the car alot..Thanks for all your help .

I'm not sure if you have the same car as me but they do have cupholder cell phone holder and USB cables for chargers that does not take up a lot of space. I do not recommended taking anything out of your center

Just got a s-560 2020 need to change the date NOT the time . Seems it is set by the gps any help thanks.

I believe I made a video on this already but go into System, Time and Date, Manual Adjustment. Make sure Automatic Time Zone is set as well as Automatic Daylight Daving Time. Lastly check your Set Format menu.

So There is no battery on the Right side of the Engine bay under the plastic cover where you show the positive and negative connect? (your 2018 S560)

Correct, no batter should be there. The battery should be in the trunk.

Thanks, Wayne great video as always。 just wish you did it not in the rain。 BTW, I looked all my 4 tires。 They are all wonderful solid harsh ride Parelli Run Flats. I did OBDscan all my system. No issues。 Non Flats are coming。 Its all money as usual.....

Any thoughts on white smoke? Any videos? I have a 2016 S550?

It depends. White smoke is an indication, your car is burning coolant. It also depends on the temperature of the environment. You have to base it on that. Cold weather white smoke is normal. If the weather is hot, white smoke is not a good sign.

You have an emergency metal skinny key inside your key fob. Press the button on the key fob and the metal piece of the key fob comes out. Look under your driver side door handle. Their is a hole. The emergency metal key goes into that hole. I did a video on this. From what I can remember those are the steps.
