I find it hilarious that no one in the research field can explain what they do in a simple way.....maybe that should be a research study.

Currently studying human computer interaction and I totally agree with you. It seems like people within the field love to come up with super contrived and complicated ways to explain really simple concepts. As if they are trying to SOUND like they know what they are saying, when in reality they are just as confused as us students lmao.

Hi, could I ask, if a study involves letting participant watch a video of a well dressed person, and a second video of a causally dressed person, and getting them to select which person they find more trustworthy. If the hypothesis is that people would find the well dressed person more trustworthy, Would this entire study be considered an experimental study?
