It Could I mean he is right, but your not wrong either. It is really hard for someone just starting out or is an amateur animator but luckily in this day and age if you have a good storyline or content and you try to put it out there it will get enough views and support most of the time. Not always, but it sure is way easier. What’s going to suck is come this January when youtube enacts the coppa laws and amateur content creators loose their add revenue and there by loosing their platform to create new content. Hopefully twitch and other sites pick up the torch

The thing is, these type of animations take so much time and effort. And most shounen animes isn't fully about combat. There is story, there is character interactions. This is just a short video with no story but amazing animation animes are more than that
