That moment between Barshim and Tamberi, when they realized that they could share the gold medal, was for me, the most special of the Olympics. True sportsmanship and friendship, we're beautifully displayed.

@@1rkofans nah. Many footballers don't show any sportsman spirit. For example, Suarez using his hand to save the goal, Neymar being brutally injured intentially. Olympic is one of the few sporting event where you'll find discipline and no foul tricks.

Sometimes, we tend to forget that many of these athletes are friends away from the venues. Many of them train together, travel together, and see each other at competitions year-round. That means plenty of time and opportunities to become familiar with each other, so they're not total strangers at all.

Yeah. They face each other maybe 3 or 5 time in a year in many competitions. Even more if the come from the same region.

The skaters were just so heartwarming to watch. These kids just want to have fun and do their best.

I love all of these moments of great sportsmanship but I think they could’ve also included when Suni Lee won and she took a selfie with Rebecca and Angelina and Angelina did the same, that was so sweet.

Where is Oksana Chusovitina's moment? the oldest gymnast to ever compete at the Olympics at the age of 46, this time competing for Uzbekistan. After she finished her Qualification, sadly without reaching the finals, every competitor applauded for her dedication to the sport of Gymnastics. In China we call her "Mother Chu" as in "mother Chu(sovitina)"

@@adader She competed in Tokyo, her 8th and final olympics. She didn't make finals, but she got a standing ovation from all the athletes and coaches after competing in qualifications.

She has a slim chance to make it to Paris. She’s not on the World Championships athlete list so I’m hoping she makes it through continental championships next year

These moments definitely worth to see, so touching and inspiring at the same time. only one word 'Respects' to the Olympians !!

Sport is great. Sportsmanship is greater.

Know that when an athlete cry, every tear that fall, win or lose, means the victory of the spirit!

Sometimes winning may not be all about winning a gold medal but winning could be the definition of great sportsmanship which can even make great memories for a life time. It is nice to win gold, but great sportsmanship is also very memorable in the Olympics.
