I don"t understand this current trend of comparing actors,music artists and other celebrities with how they looked i their prime to old.The "Then and now" series and the rest of them.We get it;nobody can,no matter how beautiful and athletic they were as young retain that level as they aproach old age,and many of them look like shit for reasons outside ageing alone.It also promotes the prejudice and misunderstanding about old age;that it represents "An insult to the body",cognitive decline and all the rest of it.The old usually share those beliefs because THAT is the attitude they meet everywhere! Nobody ever focuses on the positive aspects like the experience,knowledge and wisdom that comes to at least some of us in old age like they do in the East where they look up to and respect them.Here in the West the old are made to feel useless and shunted aside often to go die a slow death along with others of their kind
