Omg I was pleasantly surprised to find that my KZread ad was in asmr. Is usually have to prepare my brain and quickly turn my volume off beforehand but this time it was asmr curology. Thank you KZread. It was really nice!

Thank you thank you! And yes, I happen to watch/already know about a lot of the cases I cover. I listen to true crime podcasts regularly and the ID channel actually has a lot of great cases they cover. After I choose my case that I’m covering then I will sit down and read as many articles as I can find online before typing up some notes. I try my hardest to only trust news clippings or actual interviews but sometimes if info is limited I’ll have to trust a website that may not always be the most accurate. After this I try to present just the facts and then I’ll give a brief opinion as I don’t want my opinion to sway someone else’s beliefs or take away from any facts of the case:)

Initially I thought you mightve been reading from a source but then I realized you formatted it to sound like a story, that builds up at the end. You have a great storytelling ability. Its so sad the nature of the stories but it definitely tells the events in an interesting way (for lack of better words)

Pamela Butler's kidnapping in Kansas City might be an interesting case! I was a year or two older than her when she was abducted and we lived in the same area of the city, so the case really hit home for me.

I think when Bethany and her dad went to the "friends" house, whatever happened to her happened there. I don't for one minute believe that an 11yr old girl stayed up all night partying with her dad and his friends. He either left her somewhere or sadly ended her life. Very sad 😥

Even if Larry was telling the truth about going to the mall and losing her there, I think it was still extremely negligent of him to let her go in all by herself, and at the age of 11. Especially given the information near the end of the video that the mall was regarded as unsafe, it would be very irresponsible for someone to leave his or her young daughter there alone and unsupervised. As a social worker with CPS, I wouldn't ever let that fly if I could help it.

Yes I agree! At 11 that seems awfully young especially without a friend or someone else there with her. I could understand maybe sending in two kids around that age together while you park the car but that’s about as far as I’d go!

I find the idea of them going for a random nap in the truck a bit unrealistic... just me?? Or is that a done thing in the States??

I wouldn’t say it’s a typical thing but on a long road trip if I was really tired I’ve pulled over and taken a quick power nap before or after eating. I wouldn’t plan on taking a nap at a mall parking lot like that though for sure that sounds strange
