What an interesting but tragic case 😟 My 1st thoughts as I was listening were regarding a system that would place a child into a home without running water, only occasional electricity and bizarre sleeping arrangements. I doubt the family could have so easily adopted a healthy Caucasian child, and this in itself is in my opinion an obvious and grievous issue. I guess I understand that an arrest and conviction would be impossible without a body or proof of a homicide, but in this case it sickens me further to know this man is free and continues to have daily contact with his "imprisoned" family as well as other children. Shame on a system that allows such atrocities in a country supposedly founded on truth and justice for ALL. I want to thank you for sharing this story and hope it will inspire more investigation into the root of these issues. 💙💖

Yes it is so so strange! I’m not sure what the rules are like for adopting a child in New York so I will have to dive into that further. I do hope that by sharing this case and similar ones enough people can help take action to find some answers!

@@violetfemme411 Greenwich the neighborhood in NYC is pronounced that way, but TinyLittleWhispers is correct in her pronunciation. Everyone who lives in the region pronounces it "Green-Which."

This is so sad. My very first thought about that family was adopting kids as "slaves." I know some families are truly out there willing to adopt a child with behavioral issues to help them have a better life but it just seems fishy that they lived the way they did and adopted a child which no one else wanted. So sad. I hope he is resting in peace. And whoever did it is brought to Justice.

Yes I totally agree! So strange to have kids already but know going into it he had some aggression towards other kids. I do hope justice is served one day for whatever happened!

sometimes the foster care system baffles me, why would they send a special needs child, known to have issues with other children, to a house with 4 other children, no running water, and only occasional electricity. These are not proper conditions for a child with special needs it's so sad what happened to him :(

Isn't "reversing an adoption" just putting someone up for adoption? Only half-way through, so forgive me if I'm wrong on this, but a family that doesn't have running water and all members sleep in the same room might be a red flag. I was initially thought they might be evangelical, which is unsettling in and of itself, but then I remembered they had different last names, which isn't very evangelical of them. So who knows what strange beliefs they may have been putting into practice? Either way, I don't know if it's a good idea to put an at-risk child in a home without modern facilities. The child moved enough in his life, now you want to send him back a century?
