Sierra Yvonne I see it as when a series has to drop its episode per season count that it's "Oh shit, were running out of content and dont wanna produce a subpar episode." it's a red alert to cash in your chips and call it a day, and they're doing it splendidly, it's like Game of Thrones someones gonna die but who, when and how.

TheKarjee They dropped it two episodes last season because Anna was pregnant with twins. I wish they would of continued it back to 12 but it wasn't shortened initially for any other reason than her pregnancy.

Started the 2023 with True Blood Marathon from Season 1 to 7, on HBO Go. Still love it!

Just finished watching True Blood for the first ever in my life. Beautiful & Raw. Will never forget it. BRING BACK BLOOD!

I had such an emotional attachment to this show, and i was so heartbroken that it ended, i was so into this show.

I so love Sam's character.....He is under rated.

I love that moment between Alex and Kristin, even though it made me teary. Can't believe it's time to say goodbye. :'(

These actors did a fantastic job in portraying the characters, and bringing the story to life. Best vampire series i've watched.

2023 watching it second time after 11 years. What a nostalgia. Time flies so fast. Love it, my favourite show.

I'm rewatching the whole series and keep finding moments I have forgotten about. Love, love, love this show! I will miss it!

There will be a sad void in my life now that this show is at an end. Truly, in the most absolute way. Kristen Van Bauer Stratten was my fuel to get through the week. She excited every pore in my body and mind. I wish this show, would never end. It's so prematurely met it's demise. I'm truly heart sick about this being the last season. And Kudos to the stylists/costume design people, the hair designers, the prosthetics gang and the writers. I will miss you all so much. What will fill this void is very hard to imagine. Thanks True Blood.

This makes me long for this show so bad. I miss Bon Temps. :'( The 1st season was the bomb and I could've watched 7 + seasons of just a spinoff of those storylines alone ..and leave out the vamp politics. With that being said, it's still one of my favorite shows of all times.

7:27 This scene captures the essence of any restaurant where the team is comfortable each other. It’s just fooling around to keep morale up while we do the same old shit on a different day.

It's very strange seeing Ryan Kwanten who plays Jason talking so eloquently and actually sounding intelligent and articulate...almost surreal - but that's the talent behind being an actor in the truest sense of the word. When the OPPOSITE occurs - we get people like Katherine Moennig who can only play herself and is always the same in whatever she does. No wonder she's been type-cast so obviously, poor sod!

I will miss the hell out of this show!! Thank the old gods and the new we still have Game Of Thrones!

I'm kind of jealous that I didn't get into this show until it finished. I'm sure at the time (and considering the era) it would have been something to be following along with as it was getting released. Watching all these old clips, seeing the countdowns it was doing on Insta, the fact there were real websites following this show (eg. Jessica's Blogs, TrueBloodBeverages, AVL, Fellowship of the Sun, etc.) that are no longer around anymore. I feel like a lot of shows don't have that momentum/commitment anymore, and it's kind of sad to see. I was 14 when this first aired, and now 31 I feel hella nostalgic and sad to see how much time has passed, and that I kinda missed it!!

so as soon as deborah ann woll first appeared in 2:50 i was already bursting into tears, so thank you for that, trueblood guys. thank you for the best gift you have given me in the last seven years on television and on vampire life

Oh, I love this show. my favorite show ever, hands down. I'm not surprised at all to hear them talk about how emotional they are that the show is ending, and how much they loved the work they did and how it changed their lives.... Truly a beautiful community of actors & characters.

i cant believe it's over it's very sad. i love this show and i'm going to keep watching the seasons over through the years.

This show is so nostalgic. It reminds me of Junior year of High School when it first came out I was hooked. Now I live in California, have been for 7 years, and I'm rewatching this series. It's too good and I'll probably never stop rewatching it lol

This show has truly been one of my all time favorites. To see it all come to an end is truly a saddening thought. I have fallen in love, and at times hated all of the different people on the show. I love that it was such an open show. All taboos were thrown out the window and it made the whole show absolutely glorious! I think everyone did an amazing job on this show. I dunno if it's in the cards but I'd really like to see Hoyt come back for a mini-arc,I agree with Sam,when Jessica and Hoyt first meet in the bar is one of my fave moments in the whole series.

This was such a beautiful send off to a really entertaining and horrific and really lovely show. I really didn't want it to end just yet. The characters become someone we all get to know for an hour once a week, so it's weirdly like losing friends.

I am re-watching right now, and in those moments Nelsan is on my television screen, he's not gone anymore. Then I remember and it makes me sad all over again. And I have struggled with alcohol addiction so it's a little personal even though Nelsan was someone I did not know personally. And he was a great Talent.

These videos I have seen from True Blood have reignited my passion for the show.

They really are telling the truth about how iconic this show was. Granted by the end of series I was not a fan of the show I still had to watch it every sunday when it was on and even hen it wasn't I have all the seasons. Liked Kristen Bauer said this show is longer than junior high and high school. I literally grew up watching it and reading the books. It premired when I was in 6th grade and the final episode aired on the first sunday of me living on my college campus. It wasn't exactly the most appropriate thing for a 11-12 year old to be watching but I loved it.

"The villains on this show have never been "just evil". Every character has something primal inside them." I kind of thought of Lorena as he said that. Lorena was extremely beautiful, but she was cruel and sadistic. But she didn't start out that way. Lorena was very loving as a human. But her maker twisted her into the hateful creature we saw over time. It's sad that someone who was once filled with love and compassion was now filled with darkness and no remorse until the day she was staked.

@@paradox920 her maker was a male but physically weak vampire. He turned her and used her to lure men to their deaths. She eventually killed him but by then she'd become hard and bitter

I had such a hard time accepting the ending....For a long time I refused to watch the last season, because I knew that was it. I wasn't ready to say goodbye. Bon Temps was my escape, I loved watching the lives of all these people. And now that Nelsan is gone it's bitter sweet. I am re-watching the series for the 6th time. This cast had incredible chemistry

I read every book. Bit there's a few things they left out but I love the show so much tho

:( hate that it's ending but happy I got caught up in one of the greatest series I've ever watched.

I remember my mom was in the living room watching something and she says to me. "Come watch this with me." Being me I said"mom I don't wanna watch your vampire movie." "You'll like it" she says. By this time, season 2 had come out. I watched the first episode and was hooked. I was like 10 at the time (yes a little young, but I've always been more mature than my age)and grew up with the show until the age of 17. I miss it dearly and I'm reading the series for the 3rd time now. It had it's faults but this show will always have a place in my heart.

first off i cryed just seeing eric grab pams hand when she was trying to hold back her tears.well my tears began to roll.i love this show.and HBO will never top trueblood.

I gotta say this here because where else can i even say it? After going through a full cycle of finding Ginger funny, then annoying, then feeling sorry for her, then coming to truly love her by the end of season 6 and feeling real glee when Eric said 'I know that scream', I realised something watching the seventh season; we are in fact all Ginger. Sure we all hope we'd be Sookie in the true blood universe, but I am big enough to admit I know I'd be Ginger lol

Omg im crying im going to miss this show soooo badly. Its been with me since i graduated high school. I was hook at the first episode. IM GOING TO BE A FOREVER TRUE BLOOD FAN!
