If your meaning the switch in the dash , it really does not matter which way the terminal are on . As for our side your just interrupting the circuit. Your not adding any power .

excellent information and a lot of quality content on your channel.. I have a 2006 freightliner century and I'm going to do that adaptation 👌, I want to ask you if when you do that by-pass with the harness and the button, the fan only works manually ? Or does it continue to cycle automatically with the original valve even if you don't activate the button manually? Thank you very much for your help, another thing, you know that I did not see the Amazon link to find out which harness you used, if you can send it to me, I appreciate it... and again, thank you very much for your time...!

It still works as normal, the switch just activates it when you want it on .

When the switch is off. Will the fan still kick on and off automatically like normal?

Can a viscous electric be with a switch control? Thank you

Anything like this do not go aftermarket, always go through the dealer. Aftermarket is normal not a good quality. Plus when you call the dealer you tell them you vin number this makes sure it’s the proper part .
