Keep doing what you are doing... It's a great primer into the trucking business. It's the only endeavor that I've never tried. Now, as a senior I wish I'd tried it a little bit (back in the 70s during the CB craze). American Truck Simulator is the closes I've come to your world. Enjoy, you are creating great memories that you can share with the "little ones" later in life. Question: Do truck drivers still talk on the CB radio?

Maybe you could buy some of those paper mats that mechanics put on your floor when you take your car in for service. Then just throw them away once you're done walking around in a muddy/dirty area.

Tank wash locations do a really great job of there wash outs !!!

Potholes!!! Me and some coworkers went to Detroit on a business trip years ago. We got a rental. We were driving downtown on a bypass and hit a pothole. It felt like we hit a brick wall. Not sure how the wheel assembly and the shocks stayed on the car.
