+unitedgray They change the weight on the sled and change the speed of the weight box as it comes up for each class... Just because a stock gas truck pulls 200ft and a pro diesel class pulls 195ft doesnt mean that the gas truck was better.

Quoi Pourquoi regardless, there aren't many aftermarket upgrades for those trucks other than tunes. The internals are all stock unlike all those souped up diesels.

***** How many times a day do you twist your frame? Or anyone. none unless for some reason your job is set in an odd place that you didn't level out. But thats one in a million. I'd take my Ford over your chevy anyday. Or dodge. if you roll that way. But even with that Fiat/Dodge tranny dodge pulls better than chevy

They are pulling a sled and while your pulling it a blade comes out of the sled and digs into the dirt which slows the truck down and makes it unpullable becasue the truck isnt powerful enough to pull them, the sled it self is like 40,000+ pounds maybe 50

***** He was spooling the turbo with smaller pipes, then blasting the rest out of the stack. Its useless it just knocks 2-3 seconds off your boosting time, and when you race, you dont have to 2-step.

Gets heavier and heavier, look at the sled and the thing going up. Weighs about 2k lbs near the end.

sorry i dont know muc habout this, first time watching. How are they even able to get going, yet they cant keep it. because if u look at it with physics its harder to get something going tha to keep t going. So how do they get it going?

If you look at the weight that is on the sled that they're pulling, it starts out at the back of the sled and then as they pull it it moves toward the front.

The weight gets heavier as they go and it gets around 2000 pounds around there

My dad passed his 1992 gmc sirrra down to me before he passed away, so I might go down there when it gets a new engine and camshaft (from a corvette)

No. Black smoke falls to the ground and is soot. Has actually been proven to fertilize plants. Secondly global warming is bullshit. In the last 20 years the overall temperature has only changed .1 degree not even a full degree, glaciers melting? Wrong they melt during the day and re freezing over night been like that forever, little known fact is that global warming has no true evidence to support it and is still a THEORY, cow manure actually creates more "green house gases then vehicles" so no worries bro

The sled went all the way across though, just like with the other trucks. I figured it would have been set up to weigh less but it doesn't seem to be the case here.

On a sled thay can adjust how fast the weights move up and when to drop the pan

torque and the brute power of the motor is more important in pulling than horsepower! so i dont think any european or asian car or suv could do such thing cause thats what americans do! they get like 500 hp from a 5.0 lt engine and a billion Nm torque for example but europeans can make 1,400 hp from a 5.8 lt engine but with less torque (e.i. koenigssegg). europeans aim for precision and pleasure of driving where as americans do these thinks in the video! :)

GreekPiranha Yeah ok but the German SUV do produce a lot of torque too for example, a v12 q7 produces 1000 NM, tuareg v10 gives 750 NM, bmw 3.0 diesel can give 580+ NM... comparing these with a stock f150 or dodge 1500 in a pulling should actually be interesting or even with the heavy duty's

x6land while the q7 and touraeg might make the right power, their frames and suspensions aren't set up to be pulling huge loads like this.

x6land well that may be but they would not have the gearing to pull they have highway gears even a stock 3/4 ton truck has 4.10 gears usually a 1/2 ton might only have 3.55 gears but they will still out pull 2.80 to 3.30 gears any day even if they have less power
