Truck Dashcam In Australia (Very Coarse Language)

Just a few clips I've managed to catch on the dashcam while driving around.
Due to language I advise not to watch if you have kids around.
And please take care and drive safely around trucks and other vehicles.

Anyway i love driving my fork, love driving my car. But I fucking fucking fucking hate the retards in Melbourne who drive like muppets. I feel this guy's frustration. The last clip he gets angry tailgaiting car in front who is doing the right thing. They are maintaining the correct following distance, then it becomes 2 lanes and the car in front of them moves over allowing space to accelerate and again maintains safe following distance. Who cares if you want to get home, Im pretty sure we all want to get home and not have a truck up or ass... no one has to get out of your way because your a truck and think you own the road! Plenty of idiots on the roads as shown in the other clips, dealing with them must be agitating.... just take a deep breath in and let it go man.

    Couldn't agree more! If you look at the dates in these videos, they're over a relatively short time frame. So many agro video's in such a short time tells me that maybe he should find another job. People have various reasons for changing driving speeds when driving and they may well be due to things he is not aware of. He should stop treating everyone like they are idiots (and yes .. there are many of them out there) and just accept that some people are going to do silly things at times. Be AWARE of it and drive 'defensively'!!

    Hrm... someone with P plates is still learning. It's pointless to shout at them when they're being cautious. Better they are slower and cautious than overconfident and taking someone's life. Also, the blue Wideline van driver sees the painted arrows in his lane indicating that it's now a left turn only lane, yet he doesn't want to turn left, he wants to continue straight on. So he moves over before the lanes are separated with a solid line. He's done that correctly. Taking into consideration that the left lane of Cumberland Highway/Pennant Hills Road, from the Pacific Motorway all the way up to Beecroft Road, is a lane used for both diverging traffic as well as straight through traffic, you could've simply given him the space without being sour about it.

  • @jockmarshall7601
    @jockmarshall76013 жыл бұрын

    @16:11. I don't know why you are going off at the car in front of you. They can't go any faster, because of the traffic in front of them. They sped up once the traffic in front of them moved into the right lane. The car was keeping a safe following distance from the car in front of him, not like you. You need to calm yourself down and assess the situation before going off, for no reason.

    I agree that the cars that speed up when they reach an overtaking lane are really annoying. Though in the cases here, the drivers that are being marked aren't the ones to blame; they're trapped behind the one actually responsible as well, and are being forced to match speeds with a line of vehicles in front of them. They're probably just as frustrated.

I can't imagine what you guys who drive semis, b doubles and road trains experience. The absolute worst thing i hate is when they pull inside your safe distance from the vehicle ahead. Thinking its a spot for them but in reality its preventing you fron turning the car in front of you into minced meat if an accident occurs. Its even worse when they jump in fron your left hand blind spot.

    I worked my way through college at a trucking company, so the language didn't faze me a bit. No doubt the profanity helps this guy vent his frustration with the motoring public so he won't take it out on his family when he gets home. The fact is, many drivers are inept, inconsiderate or inattentive, and anyone who spends a lot of time on the road needs to accept that. Thankfully, there's no indication on the video that this fellow's impatience with the idiocy he encounters makes him do anything risky. This was both entertaining and instructive.

    Probably because with stock standrad driving lessons they teach new drivers how to pass a driving test, rather than how to really drive a car. Add to that the fact that passing a car licence test is easy, and to be honest passing a truck licence test is even easier., at least in Queensland. You'd have more trouble passing wind.

    Hahaha mate I can totally relate. I drive a courier van. I'm a chick but swear at them just as you do. So frustrating how stupid and selfish people are on the road. I see them cut in front of trucks. Just between you and me 😉 I sometimes wish the truck couldn't stop and drove straight over them. One less fuckwit on the road. And the ones who slow down for a green light, waiting for it to change.......JEEEZUZ CHRIST!!....🤣🤣🤣

    There are 2 noises the dashcam makes, it lets you know when you are within 30metres of an object ahead of you above 60km/h (which is a fair gap the angle of the cam sometimes makes it seem a lot closer in the clips) and one that alerts if you cross a lane like a safety warning if you were to fall asleep and veer off the road.

    @@shanehastattoos Thanks for the info, mate. I recognised almost every road in the video. I get fed up with drivers when driving the work 4x4 around, I can imagine how annoying it would be in a truck.

    The whole "Keep Left Unless Overtaking" system - with it's ambiguity as to when it applies and then needing signs in zones below 90 etc. should be thrown out and replaced with a sweeping "Slower Traffic Move Left" which applies whether its 20kph zone or 130... You'd need the same conditions as the current rule - ie. to allow turning right and for all lanes to be filled in congested traffic - but I reckon even in relatively heavy traffic the concept of slower to the left EVERYWHERE ANYTIME will cause people to tend to filter that way more than now... Keep Left Unless Overtaking leaves too much room for any idiot to convince emselves they're justified holding out in the right lane - because they WILL overtake anyone in the left lane they catch up who's going slower than THEM to so ARE overtaking - and anyone trying to go quicker coming up behind can go hang - but if old mate in the right lane is the slower vehicle then the rule would mean they're obliged ta get outta the way if they can. AND why the hell isn't Driver Education INCLUDING ROAD CRAFT taught in school!!!!!!!!

    here in the states they speed up in passing zone then slow down in no passing zone both 4 wheelers and 18 wheelers if they are not trying to pass over double line trying to run you off the road to get in front, i learned my first year in passing lane to get over in the lane early that does not end so the are in the yield or lane that ends, that way if they hit you its their fault
