I am currently in a long distance relationship. A month from now would be our 3rd year anniversary together. We're both guys. He's working from 9pm to 6am and I am a Veterinary Medicine student and on my 5th year. We barely see each other and chat mostly during our free times on weekends. For 3 years we were like that. This might not be the intended meaning, but some parts of this song really explains asexuality so beautifully. It reminds me of someone who is asexual explaining to their partner how much they love them, asking their partner to accept them as they are

Hi, so if you watch the original videos this is the third part of a trilogy. The story is about two guys who were in a relationship until one of their fathers found out and forced them to end it. This song is the other guy singing about how he misses what they had and doesn’t understand why it ended. There is more too it but that’s a quick summary. I highly recommend watching the entire trilogy and listening to all three songs.
