Easily. When a person cannot see their need for help or trust in their own abilities, they are blinded by pride and cannot see God's goodness. Jesus told the Pharisees that they could not hear his words because they were not of His sheep. He also said except you be born again you cannot see or enter into the kingdom of heaven. Isaiah asked the question, "Who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed"? We are blessed to have eyes to see the arm of the Lord working for us and to have sense enough to give God the glory for His wondrous works in our lives! For truly, none other would have wanted to or could have delivered me from where I was, at hell's gates falling into hell drunk with sin and dying in my own blood. Glory to God, forever and ever!
