haha thats what i use...as a new college grad i dont have money to blow so these ozark trails are great and catch fish just as well. Nice Job!!!

Those little spinners are boss, I caught 2 almost 3 today that literally just got stocked as I was fishing. Nothing like the amount you catching tho, great work! Thanks for the content.

I’m a Florida saltwater inshore angler. And I am thinking about buying a light set up. Any tips on where I should focus for some trout action?

I use rapalas alot for trout fishing they do the job

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 once again here, all these trout that you caught were definitely well worth it and nothing but beauties as well. i did catch a few yesterday on the Berkely power bait 3 inch floating trout worms and the color was orange peel with green glitter on it. a great color and the trout were loving it too.

That 1$ spinner looked alot like a roostertail. Last year Ozark trail used cheap hooks, these year they use even cheaper hooks.I'm not gonna lie I tried a few last season and they caught fish but the hardware was it's downfall. Now that they down graded yet again Ive gotta draw the line😂

Do you always cast up stream? Is that the usual practice when spinning for trout?

What kind of knots do you tie on your spinners. I just landed two bows on a green 94 cent Ozark trail spinner

The stocked bite is all going for moving baits like spinners . Nothing on worms or power bait !

I had one hole where I threw different color roosters for 20 minutes straight with NO BITES. Changed to powerbait and instant hook up. I think the trout where I live are lazy.

Do you tie spinner to mono? Do you use a snap swivel?

I use straight fluorocarbon. I use a barrel swivel about 10-12” above my spinner. People do use snap swivels with success. I personally do not like them.

Just curious how you distinguish wild brown from stocked or holdover stocked brown trout?

Colors, markings and their fins. Also this particular stream does not have wild rainbows so all rainbows are stocked.

Do you cast up stream or down stream with that spinner

You always want to walk and cast up stream so you’re putting that bait in front of their face, or if you’re standing in one spot cast at a 45 degree up river and let it float down stream and slowly real just till you feel the vibration in the lure spinning

What kind of camera did you use??

If more anglers would understand that coldwater fish, such as trout have delicate mouths. Utilize split rings and swap out the overkill treble hook mangle mouth and put on a single hook. More and more greedy corporations don't even put a split ring on spinners because they are greedy, yet the price of their spinners go up. Do a good deed and cut off the overkill treble hook mangle mouth and add a split ring and single hook, which will help those that are released.

It's not about me, it's about educating and the true meaning of conservation, something you obviously can't comprehend because of your greedy mentality of fishing and keeping everything you catch. You should take college level classes in fisheries and or study ichthyology and study the true meaning of conservation and respect for fisheries because of your ignorance.

I use treble hooks when I don't have lures with single hooks. Fishing is considered a sport. That's like playing football and hope to hurt people. It's all for fun. No intention to hurt the fish when c&r. I release fish to help the population grow. But I also keep the fish when I want to eat them. I don't have a line to put fish on to keep so right now I'm just releasing them.

@@sidchronicle2365 You totally missed the entire point about conservation when trout are caught and released. You obviously can't comprehend the issue, but it comes down to laziness, when treble hooks can easily be cut off and a split ring added with a single hook for catch and release. It's too hard and too much work for people because people are selfish, greedy and lazy, therefore conservation is out the window and there is no respect in releasing trout, with mangled mouths from treble hooks. Why would I want to know that you don't have a line to put them on??? That is totally off topic. By the way, there is not much meat on trout anyway, so those that do keep them, end up making more work cleaning them, only to get a few bites, with some bones, but then again, most people are dumb. You obviously are not of higher education, nor are you a fly fisherman.

Why not keep any of your catches?

Some of your losses were due to that lure. Cheap and not as sharp. Enough bites though.
