Ionut. Cand mergem la pescuit ? 😀
A left hand wind. That's the real way to fly fish. Hold the rod with the right, the strong arm, don't need to change hands when you hook up. Wind with the left hand. Perfect technique.

Yep that’s the way to do it
“Nala” yes dad let’s catch some fish 😂 I love dogs she’s cute
It’s amazing how fresh the trout from NZ look compared to the ones here in the states. The tail and all the fins are so large and colorful. Although I still catch 5 lb trout, that is the biggest they get. Huge fan Gareth, keep up the awesome videos 🤙🏻

Carter Pivonka they are in amazing condition this time of year and frankly, the Tongariro is probably the best trout river in the world.
Great day on the water as usual top knotch video specially the one trout that was doing all the jumping
With only 6 hours, not a bad day on the water! Your dog certainly seems to be understanding you better now. Not a single lick of the fish. That's a great thing as far more of them will survive as a result. Watched the ads so you're paid more for the content provided to us.
Oh man Your fishing is absolutely fantastic. Congratulations on the beautiful fish. Greetings from Germany
In Arkansas tailwaters we call it the swang or dangling.
Cool vid as usual Gareth!! Some nice rainbros too. Keep up the good work young man!!! ATB Chris.
Fished there in 1998 while on a biz trip to NA. Good memories.
Nice fish mate, cool you got some on the swing 🤙🤙
Super super nice fish man. It was hard to tell if the other fellas across the river were catching as many as u were but its always a damn good feeling when u fish near other people and ur bringin the fish in right and left and they aint catchin a damn thing lol. I know its evil but its a fun evil i guess lol. Keep up the amazing vids bro!
Nice. Look forward to getting back down there again soon.

@Policemen Sam thanks, love that river. Might go for a look.
Great vid:)
Nice video. Do you ever fish the Waitahanui? I'd love to see some video from there.
How far below the SH1 bridge were you fishing? Great day out for you👍👍
Yooo love your videos just started fly fishing an you taught me a lot💯💯
YES I'M EARLY
Great video and methods. Is August a good time to fish the Tongario?
Had to clear the airspace for those last 2 studs.
What is the deal with dark rainbows and silver ones ? In the states only the salmon gets dark like that.
What is the knot you used on the swing fly? It looks like it knots back a couple of inches.
