Troublesome Poodle Topknots (Part 1) | “Real Life” Poodle Maintenance
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Today we’d like to share with you some “real life Poodle maintenance”. As much as we often show some ‘Perfect Poodles’ on our page, in our courses, and on social media, this is the reality of owning a show Poodle! Many Poodles are rough on their topknots, they like to rub them on various surfaces, some chew their ears - so what to do with that topknot when that happens?
In this tutorial, Allison shows you how to take out and brush through a topknot that needs to be re-banded between baths. Stay tuned for Part 2 where we’ll re-band this maintenance topknot!

Glad it was helpful!
This was very helpful. She's such a good girl and I love how chill she was while getting her hair readjusted. What are your favorite bands to use when doing these maintainance styles?

The large wrapping bands from Lainee Ltd! Thanks for watching
Could you please write which pin brush you use. I haven't found one that suits me yet TY

I use the Chris Christensen Fusion pin brush, 27mm pins for brushing the topknot and 35mm pins for spraying up.
This sounds like it hurts her. It sounds very cruel. Why put a dogs fur in a ponytail to make it look appealing to us.

It certainly does not hurt her and is functional rather than aesthetic. In fact, she was fast asleep and snoring while we filmed this tutorial.
