Troubleshooting Xiaomi Push Pull Smart Lock
I made this video after describing the appalling lack of official installation support or guide online.
There are videos of people installing the wires and setting up the software, but not the lock body, hence this video.
This video includes disassembly/assembly of the lock body, and explanation on how the lock body works.
If you are installing the smart lock, make sure you have adjusted the smart lock according to the orientation of your door (inward/outward opening, left/right side opening) by adjusting 2 screws each on both smart panels.
1 screw adjusts whether the handle pushes or pulls on that side of the panel
The other screw has to be adjusted depending on whether your door is outward/inward opening.
The last screw is a tiny blue one found in the lock body. The blue screw can be found on both faces of the lock body; only the blue screw on the lock body facing outside should be removed.
The blue screw can be revealed by twisting the bolt center (or whatever it is called) slightly.

Hi, I'm having an issue where the app says the door is always unlocked. I have the correct pin removed and the door functions as it should (a bit stiff though?) But the door never "locks" on the app. Is that normal?
My door maker asked to have my lock so he can fit it in the door. Now after I received it back my lower body doesn't moves. Do I do something wrong? Or the door maker broke it? I thought the lower body retract when you lift the handle. Please help.
is there any way to screw back the small pin, if i mistakenly unscrew the wrong side, without opening the cover?? thanks
Can you help me. My door can't open from the outside. I was switch the orientation from right (original) to the left. Any suggestions?
Hallo i have trouble, the message like this "the main lock tongue does not pop up" how to fix it? I already fixed the blue bolt, and the doorlock work properly, but if i close the door, the alarm always on and i have message at apps the main lock tongue does not pop up

You might have to depress the pin whilst screwing the smaller one in.. the small screw is to hold the pin in place, and the spring will push against it

Hey I have the same problm now :( I managed to installed back the small pin on both side. But it still move freely.
