I know it's been 4 years don't know if you're sill in there, but just take a bucket of water and pour down. It's a one time fix, don't need to become a plumber just to hide that poop from your friend.

Float was stuck and hadn't refilled the cistern with water, a simple tap and it went back down and the cistern refilled. Many thanks!

Yeah today I had to fix the toilet all by myself without waking up my mom and dad. Luckily the chain wasn't at the right setting so I changed it and it worked!

and what is there to be afraid of, you didn’t break it on purpose, didn’t jump on the toilet, it’s on its own

Create advice for you. Didn't mention the jet hulls under the rim which could be blocked up need cleaning

When youre house is to messy to call the plumber and to fucked up to call the landlord but you have to go to work the next day

I'm stuck in my hotel room's toilet.

Plumbers are in my apt changing my sink. Went downstairs to my parents to sh**. Notices paper left from previous use. Tried to flush. Did not work. Plunged ... Nothing. Open her up tried to push down button... Broke it. All this and the turd pokin out ma butt.

Not that helpful on the flapper valve, when you have a full cistern you can hardly pull the syphon without causing a flood!

In that case you'd have to prop float up stopping water flow, then siphon water out into a bucket 🪣 I'm no plumber hence why I'm here but I can figure out how to drain the thing lol not too difficult
