I had a massive shop fire back in July and lost literally everything I had metal working related. We also lost all of our camera gear for filming, so we are just getting back up and running after a few months off!

That torch camera setup is incredible
Just picked up my new typhoon 330 thanks for the advice!! Much better than my dynasty 280 DX was! and that was a good machine if you want to pay for the upgrades and the hidden menus and etc.
well done sir ! the start- settings tell me one thing for sure : this machine has been built by people who are REALLY in to welding. brilliant ! i had arcstart issues with a red machine running CuAl8 on thin gauge steel ( like 1/35 inch ;-)) ) the Typhoon will do this i think.

Explains some of the things I've been guilty of, and I have much older machine that just has dials for the adjustments. The few times I've used the multi process machine in TIG mode I've had the exact same issues. 👍
Thank you. Great advice. Night and day difference after those changes. Settings are key on this great machine.
I had terrible starts with my 255ext. I had to dress off the work clamp as it was making terrible contact from factory. Casting flash was minimizing surface area contact. Dressed off smooth arc starts are almost as good as a dynasty 280 I used to use for work.

thinking about getting a typhoon, have you guys released a warranty claim stat on these machines so far? I'm coming from a squarewave 200 so I got ptsd from dealing with that, lol. I'm an experienced welder so i don't think ill have any problems getting lost in the settings, i actually appreciate the level of adjustability this machine has to offer.
What got me a couple of times was switching between pedal & torch switch & forgetting to set the machine for it. After 3-4 arc attempts you like "doh". I'm new to tig so the Typhoon 230 presets have been great for settings to practice with. On A/C tig preset the metal options I'm not familiar with as I'm just a hobbyist. Whats the difference in the two?
How do I get to buy the returned machines at a reduced price? 👀
I have a Everlast 315LX, the shielding gas hose split just below the torch. Can the lead be replaced or the whole torch?

You can get the new style head with the hose barb/ferrel connections and trim the gas line back and reconnect it
i've been having problems with beveled cuts with the 102i cnc plasma cutter. Can you help with that?

It’s beveling one direction X or Y that can be an indication that the table isn’t level, or one of the stepper motors could be binding, also could be the torch is not square to the table.

Air pressure, wrong amperage for consumable size, worn consumable can cause this is. Moisture too. it on circles only? Does bevel change direction around the cut? Whats stand off height.
Definitely interested in the school, where is it located?

My typhoon 230 has been working great but this morning in between welds it started acting like I was out of gas, bottle was almost new so I thought I had contaminated gas came back with new gas and checked all my settings and still cannot get it to wet… and it’s having a hard time arcing call tech support and left a voicemail… pulling my hair out because it’s been welding so great
