Trotsky was the most important politician of the twentieth century. If you want to find where i found the sources of the creation and organization the Red Army you don't have to look that far just read Lenin's books. He can be considered in a way a impartial source because he distrusted both Stalin and Trotsky but he recognized Trotsky's abilities to organize and lead the masses. Stalin only passed to the front line when he started using his political movements to separate the Party and isolate Trotsky.He used Lenin as a political tool too.

I think "Stalinists" hate Trotsky so much because he was right. The bureaucracy created by Stalin led to the Soviet Union becoming revisionist.
