Trotsky's funeral (Mexico, 1940) Trotskyren hileta

" For forty-three years of my conscious life I have remained a revolutionist; for forty-two of them I have fought under the banner of Marxism. If I had to begin all over again I would of course try and avoid this or that mistake, but the main course of my life would remain unchanged. I shall die a proletarian revolutionist, a Marxist, a dialectical materialist, and, consequently, an irreconcilable atheist. My faith in the communist future of mankind is not less ardent; indeed it is firmer today, than it was in the days of my youth.
"Natasha has just come up to the window from the courtyard and opened it wider so that the air may enter more freely into my room. I can see the bright green strip of grass beneath the wall, and the clear blue sky above the wall, and sunlight everywhere. Life is beautiful. Let the future generations cleanse it of all evil, oppression, and violence and enjoy it to the full."

Trotsky was the most important politician of the twentieth century. In addition to leading the Russian Revolution, which shook and changed the world, and created the Red Army, he secured the survival of the future Soviet Union for several decades by fighting against internal and external counterrevolutionary forces. Trotsky was the first to identify and reject the seizure of power of the workers by the bureaucracy, which took the place of the bourgeoisie as an oppressive class. Trotsky predicted that the bureaucracy, full of privileges, would be responsible for ending the ideals of the October revolution and the Soviet Union itself. In Trotsky's assessment, the Russian people would sooner or later expel the bureaucracy from power (this was what happened in 1989). In the 1930s, Trotsky was the first to denounce the crimes of Stalin and the Moscow Proceedings. He repudiated Stalin's alliance with Hitler, which resulted in the Nazi invasion and the death of 25 million Russians. The great legacy of Trotsky for the new generations of workers is the Fourth International

@Motaro76 Don't talk shit about Trotsky's train. That thing was the mobile headquarters of the revolution during the Civil War. He lived in that train for 3 years, doing nothing but destroying class enemies and imperialist counter-revolutionaries. The White bandits and the imperialists would retreat in fear if they heard rumors that Trotsky's train had been sighted in the area. Trotsky was a proletarian field marshal, he actually carried a gun into battle unlike some Soviet "leaders" (traitors)

If you want to find where i found the sources of the creation and organization the Red Army you don't have to look that far just read Lenin's books. He can be considered in a way a impartial source because he distrusted both Stalin and Trotsky but he recognized Trotsky's abilities to organize and lead the masses. Stalin only passed to the front line when he started using his political movements to separate the Party and isolate Trotsky. He used Lenin as a political tool too.

@MrRedpartisan Read an article on the red army and Trotsky. He imposed discipline into the lines and defeated the white army Stalin wouldn't been able to do this. He changed history and putted himself in the place of Trotsky. His propaganda spread lies and even in Mexico Trotsky was a menace to Stalin so he had him killed. Anyway it is always a pleasure having a debate with a comrade.

I think "Stalinists" hate Trotsky so much because he was right. The bureaucracy created by Stalin led to the Soviet Union becoming revisionist. The masses had no political power or knowledge to purge the revisionists from the seat of power they inherited from Stalin Stalin was not that bad, lots of things people say against him are lies but he failed in his deportations of ethnic minorities and in the centralization he left for the revisionists. Molotov-Ribbentrop is also not a good thing, I need to study more on the matter but it does seem Stalin might have been a small scale imperialist. I can't say for sure now but I feel it was this way I praise both Stalin and Trotsky. The only supposed socialist we should hate is Pol Pot. He was an opportunist, not a Maoist or even Marxist. RIP Comrade Trotsky

Stalin was the inventor of revisionist concepts/policies falsely attributed to Khrushchev by Maoist propaganda. These are all Stalin quotes (if you do a web search you can find them on Marxists.org): "The peaceful coexistence of capitalism and communism is quite possible" "Will our state remain in the period of Communism also? Yes, it will" "'Communism in one country' is perfectly possible, especially in a country like the Soviet Union." "It is sometimes asked whether the law of value exists and operates in our country, under the socialist system. Yes, it does exist and does operate." "We must abolish wage equalisation" "Light industry is a bountiful source of accumulation" Also, Pol Pot based himself fanatically on Maoism, pledging to "exceed Lenin and outstrip Mao". He received direct military and political aid from Mao himself. His policies, the "Super Great Leap Forward" and "Super Cultural Revolution" were named after Mao's initiatives. Even his post-Mao friendship with the CIA is in line with Maoism (Mao aligned with US imperialism against the USSR after 1971, supporting anticommunist dictators like the Shah, Marcos, Mobutu, Pinochet etc, arming Pakistan during the 1971 war in Bangladesh, arming Sri Lanka against the 1971 Communist JVP uprising that same year, and more). Pol Pot said Mao was his main inspiration, e.g.: "We have creatively and successfully applied Mao Zedong Thought to the realities of Cambodia." "...particularly under the guidance of Mao Zedong, we have found a way appropriate..." "For our revolution in Cambodia, Chairman Mao, the Communist Party, and the Chinese people, have provided us the most precious thing, Mao Zedong Thought. Chairman Mao always gives us support and encouragement."
