💊 Autonomic Pharmacology:
I really like the quotes you use :) Your videos are both hilarious and informative
I had just read the Trousseau sign on my teacher's notes and couldn't obviously find an explanation...5 minutes later went on Medicosis and my disappointed brain finally found peace !! lol many thanks you got everything man
I’ve been having chronic gastrointestinal issues for the past couple years(still don’t know what it is) and today this happened to me while they were taking my blood pressure!
I am 36 years old and have this, but it's only triggered by doing anything that requires a repetitive grip with movement of my wrist, like mixing food in a bowl. That action will ALWAYS set it off, while others, such as holding a pen, drawing or holding something for too long will cause my fingers (on both hands) to go numb and my grip feels very weak, but this won't happen unless the motion and grip is sustained over a longer period of time. It does NOT happen if I am not doing a sustained grip with repetitive hand motion. I have had bloodwork done recently which didn't show much up other than some hormone issues which the GP said was PCOS, but I do not have enough symptoms for that, so I don't think it's that, I think it's perimenopause/early menopause as I have had far more symptoms of that, and my last ultrasound I had which discovered my copper IUD had slipped and needed to come out, showed no other issues. Apparently menopause can cause muscle and joint problems.
Tommorow is my presentation in this topic, glad i found this video ❤️
Lol, I've been studying this today and had helped me A LOT to understand many things i didn't even know i didn't understand until now :D. thank you so much!
I have seen so many animated videos but thus is best in all
You're a LEGEND
Respectful doctor you are,really.
Really love your videos...u make things easy to understand..
you're really inspirational, it is really evident that you're well-rounded in cultural and historical knowledge... which is a rarity for my generation, may I ask how you have done it? Just a lot of reading? What do you read? I know you have lots of short videos with some good books but do you happen to have a list of books you like? particularly medical textbooks that also mix in history/culture?
Great lecture sir....diagramatic representation is very helpful
I had Trousseau’s sign without the Blood Pressure cuff on. I also felt like there was an electrical current running through my body.mi had to go to ER. My calcium level was 6.1 secondary to hypoparathyroidism following a total Thyroidectomy!
your videos are very helpful, thank you so much doc. 🥰
