Love this (except I prefer to end my story with Ben smiling at Rey. Then I pretend that is the end of the epic 42 year long story). It is absolutely perfect to put Anakin and Padme's love theme to Ben and Rey. There are things I wish for in this. First, of course that Ben should have lived on with Rey at his side. The Dyad complete. It is how Star Wars started... With hope. Losing Ben is the furthest from the hope Star Wars gave us in 1977 (I know because I was there). Luke looking out to the horizon, going on to find Han, Obi Won, Leia. Next, Kylo/Ben should have been visited by Anakin's force ghost. It was Darth Vader that Kylo aspired to be. Anakin could give Ben the words of wisdom he needed. And, we were deprived of was John Williams's music he composed for Ben and Rey. I'm sure it was amazing. We can all HOPE that we get a re-edit of TROS to give us the Star Wars story we hoped for. Finally ending with hope and a love story with a happy ending. Thank you for your work!

Jesus H yup and he did it because of Love. If Aniken would have trusted in his Love For Padme he could have done the same. Love could have changed everything, just like Luke knew The love for his father would help being Aniken back and it did. Love and Fear of loosing the one you love sent ( Aniken/ Padme) sent the Galaxy into chaos, and Love is what finally Killed the Evil and brought back balance. I’m not gonna lie, when I saw them kiss I was “aww” but then I had a horrible thought... “ can you imagine what They’re kids would turn out😮! “ hahaha . Good thing Ben dies. Besides no one would have forgiven him anyway.

Ugh that smile he gives her after kiss is so healing like 'yes I'm finally happy and at peace, we did it together!' They both desperately wanted to belong, be loved, understood and to know themselves and they did it together by helping one another. So beautiful! I'll just prented that he didn't become one with the force and they lived happily training new Jedi.

Danielle Ocampo This is why I’m convinced they married. She said she’d take his hand, but as Ben. At the end when he rez’d her, she grabs his hand, they have a moment and kiss. After the kiss, they have another moment where they seem to talk to each other’s mind, that’s why he smiles, then dies - asking her to marry him. That’s why she says at the end, I am Rey Skywalker. She married into the family.

At least it's that did you know the original ending before reshoots? Before movie leaked and fans flipped out Kyle originally died from the fall.. thank god they at least changed that.. also recently Disney released a comic that showed Snoke throw Kylo off a cliff during training and Kylo used the force to not hit the ground . And then the movie was gunnar have him die from something that they just showed he can survive from?!

I think reylo spin-off would be considered as another episode, but I'll gladly watch it if they really make it. If disney doesn't want to make another movie, I hope they will at least give us an alternate/extended ending (a happy one) in the bluray 4k version.. along with more reylo scenes that's not included in the cinema..

Why would they kill off Ben like this? That is my biggest issue with it. It just sends such a bad message. Killing off someone who has been abused and groomed and used his whole life, the moment he finds happiness AND after his mother gives her life for him.

Yeah, I was mad at first but then I realized Leia’s life force doesn’t disappear until Ben’s does. I choose to believe he is stuck in the World Between Worlds and Rey will find him

This was really the Rise and FALL, of Skywalker. Though Ben was a Solo, he has that strong Skywalker blood.... and he really lived up to it. Now that I'm rewatching this. Im am extremely triggered with how they just killed him off.... Like... WHY???? Such a great character killed off! Come on, they should have left this Star Wars couple alone.... jeez

They did it so maliciously too. Like he's never been happy in his life, we see him smile for the first time and then 0.5 seconds after, he dies randomly. THEN THEY SHOW THE RESISTANCE CELEBRATING, like damn that's cold.

my favorite part about the kiss is when he wraps his arm around her, holding rey tightly to him. he doesn’t want to lose her after all this time and ugh i can’t it’s so cuteeee

**spoiler alert Ben Solo didn't die at the end. His mother, Leia transferred the remainder of her life force to him at the same time he 'appears' to sacrifice himself saving Rey. His body is transported to where Leia was. This is why you never see Ben as a force ghost. It's totally intentional. The Skywalker bloodline lives on through Ben and Rey having children. Also Ben and Rey living on represents the BALANCE in the force... I just spoiled episodes 10-12 SORRY

There is The World Between Worlds from the Rebels series. Also, Ben could possibly come back as an uber-powerful Force Ghost that can, hopefully, rematerialize and then they can have the life together they deserve. Edit: Just in case you don't know what WBWs is, it's a place outside of space and time, and allows anyone going through it go get anywhere in space and time. In other words: TIME TRAVEL!!!!!!

The first and only time in the movie Ben smiles....after the kiss.... The first and only time he was truly at peace and happy.

What I don’t understand is, in TROS Rey said she had this dream where Kylo and her rule together and sit on the throne together. And also in TLJ both of them said that they saw their future together. But then Ben dies and Rey is on a freaking deserted planet all alone on her own?!?! That’s not the future they both had foreseen.

they just can't be what the other person wants them to be no matter how much they wanted. that's why what they saw didn't happen. rey can't drop everything and abandon everything she loves to join the dark side (despite her lineage) & ben is in too deep...

Hope they have a force child together so that the skywalker bloodline continues on

I went to the midnight primiere...too sad the ending of Ben & Rey...I have sorrow in my heart... As much as I loved the movie the ending pissed me off. After Ben died Ray just sat there, not even a tear jerker or sadness swept her. Then they just cut to a scene as if nothing happened. As if Ben just didn’t die in front of her. As if he didn’t just give up his own life for her. As if he didn’t matter at all. I was pissed that they didn’t add a scene of Rey mourning him. The least they could do was either add a scene of her mourning him. Or better yet bring him back in the next trilogy.

I feel the same as you... I feel at least he should have been mentioned, his sacrifice and change of heart, his help defeating the emperor and helping the resistance WIN... That alone would have been enough to help pay back for his wrongdoings in the resistance's eyes if his assistance was key to victory, fighting right there next to Rey... heck, in the end, Rey is ALIVE because of him. The movie feels incomplete. There's no closure.

He was destined to die saving her, he knew he would never be accepted by the resistance or anyone as he killed millions of people. It was really sad how short of a period they had together but it could never have been a happy ending❤️😕

What if thousands of fans write email to disney to bring Ben back to life(in some magical jedi way that is not gonna look stupid). I know that The rise of Skywalker was the last movie from the Star Wars saga but as far as i know disney is considering making movies that present the life after The rise of Skywalker so i thought they can bring Ben back in any of these movies. After all disney is making films for the fans and if there are a lot of angry fans who send email to their company with suggestions how to bring Ben back i think there will not be reason for not bringing Ben back.

True family is the family we choose, the family that loves us, that makes us feel that we belong. Rey truly is a Skywalker.

He should have been standing there at the end with Rey on Tatooine watching the double sunsets.....

Even though it is really sad, I think their story from the begining was tragic kinda like romeo and juliet. The love ben had for rey was so strong he died to save her, it's tragic but it shows how much he actually cared for her. Anakin could not save the one he loved but Ben could, he did what his grandfather couldn't but at the same time i would've loved to see ben solo as a redeemed man (plus adam is an incredible actor and i would've loved to see more of him in the star wars franchise).

Lucas Films says that there is going to be more movies in 2022. They also said that past characters will appear in future films. And-spoilers ahead-Rey is a Palpatine so she has the power to bring back life like he had. So I think in the future films she will bring her sole mate-Ben not Kylo- back to life.

Thank you so much! What a beautifully done video! Skywalker's saga deserved some happiness after so much tragedy, and not a closure with all of them dead... also Rey ending up alone after finally finding her soulmate was not the finale I imagined. I got out of the theater sobbing and sad.

after i saw this movie i was feeling so bad, like i was in a deep agony or anxiety. I thought that it's cause of Ben's death, i've always loved him, he is my favourite character 4ever. But today i realised that that pain, that agony is cause of their kiss. I ship reylo since the last movie, i actually had a fp on ig for them:) but i realised that for me..this kiss happend all at once. I was expecting that he is gonna become good and they are gonna become something. Adam and Daisy are that good actors that we could see the light in Rey's and Ben's eyes last movie. So i was expecting that and i'm happy cause he changed in good for Rey, for his mother or his father. This was Ben's redemption that Leia waited for "The Jedi will end with him" and this is the end so? The end of Jedi? This cant be called redemption, he died, he is one with force but he did not deserved to die. i always got to deep in this storyes, movies, serials that i like. Like i am part of it. And i hate that cause i feel too much pain for that. loveing this story, this series, this characters, this actors forever🥺🥀

We the audience (and especially the Reylo people ) and Rey and Ben deserved a happy ending...........

This video is perfect😭. I’m still super sad about Ben but I’m glad he died honorably at least. He chose to save Rey even though he knew he would die.

Summertime sadness played on only a violin omg stunning and this still hurts like I wish they kept him alive 😞

Hopefully the next movie he is not dead and he returns to the good side to stand with Rey and that when he kissed her he gave her a child which is both of there child and they raise there kid together I hope this is the next movie

At least kylo doesn't die from the Fall anymore like originally did. Thank god for that reshoot. Would of been so pissed. And after Disney recently released comic showing Snoke train kylo and throw him off a cliff and he uses the force to stop himself hitting the ground. If the movie had him die from the fall and terms showing us he would survive that would of been so bad. At least they changed him dying from the fall. . Now if only Snoke was plagieus.... man Disney could of connected all the movies. Made them have a point. Not ruin anakins redemption, and show us the beginning of the Skywalker bloodline ( plagieus and sidius messing with the force and the force pulling back by creating anakin...man Disney could of made something incredible. . Made the lifelong star wars fans fall in love all over again and new generation experience what the lifelong fans felt.... only if snoke was plagieus and was the big villain in this film. Not sidius. . Plagieus could of tricked Rey and kylo made them think he was dead like he tricked sidius all that time ago..

He is dead, why they showed Leias body disappear. Her story ended with the DEATH of her son. So he did die, but so did Palpatine, and yet he managed to return YEARS later. If you saw all the snokes in the tank, he made clones. So there's a chance Ben could come back, we never know

Watching this video was just truly amazing! But as I was getting into the end, it made me cry seeing Ben solo dying. I wish they could just made them together in the end 😭💔 so sad 😢

I would love to hear more when Kylo talks about then being a triad or something like that... Also there are scenes from TFA when Kylo seens Ray for the first time in the vision she has when she touches Lukes lightsaber... Ray appeared to Kylo in these visions (for Kylo they were in the past, but for Rey they were just happening), thats why Kylo reacted "WHAT GIRL??" the first time he heard about her... . Then she was told about "the belonging she was looking for" , it WAS KYLO, she saw him and she knew it and thats why she refused to take the saber.... Another scene is when she is in the Cave and she looks at the mirror... that person in the other side of the mirror is KYLO, that was his reflection, his shadow, same hair... etc... but Rey sees herself because she is refusing to accept that KYLO is her future/her belonging..... another great scene is TROS, before she is about to jump into Kylos ship/plane.... he heart is pounding and restless because she knows she will see him again... ❤❤❤❤💔💔💔💔

I am convinced with how TRoS is shot and edited at the end that there were a few different endings, cut dialogue, etc. They had to have at least a few options for the editing process since it’s such a huge franchise to end. Even Endgame and GoT went through that. I just wonder if they’ll Blu-ray anything cut...

I have seen the movie 2 days ago and I'm still heartbroken, I dreamed of such an ending for 4 years and I love disney for doing Reylo at the end but I hate it also because I feel like I'm done with my life now and it overwhelmed me so much, I cried all the movie and I screamed at the end(I feel sorry for the people who were in the cinema with me then haha:D). it's been two days and I still can't get back together. I hope there is someone who has also the same feeling as me. May the force be with you, thank you for reading

Same here, I cried for quite a while after. I was so happy when he climbed up and cried with joy but that quickly turned to sorrow and sobbing. :( I also wish Rey didn't have to end up alone on a sand planet like in TFA
