Damn Jay! So sorry you had to come home to this. This is every ones worst nightmare. While away. I had some crazy anxiety over leaving my fish for the week. Try to reflect back to why you bought that first tank. And what that tank did for you. How it helped you. And how it helped you build a platform to make a difference in this world. You have helped more people than you will probably ever know about. The most unselfish man I have ever met. This world needs more Jay Wilson’s in it. But unfortunately you are the only one we have. And the only one we are stuck with. 😂 Please let me know if there is anything I can help with!

Jay, lost a whole tank of Discus once from the same type of situation. The fumes from solvents can be toxic. Feel you pain.

Earlier this year I lost a group of 12 WC Red Rainbows. ☹️ I know exactly how that felt. I’m sorry that this happened Dude. They are an absolutely stunning fish to have.

Keep your head up brother. It tough to lose any of our fish and it the hardest part of this hobby. I'll be sharing this for Rachel and her family, of course our hearts go out to her in these hard times but what y'all are doing for her is exactly why I haven't left this hobby 100x before and the same reason you didn't. Jay, lately I have had some of my newer fish die, never was issue before and I am noticing lot of them and not just one place most of the suppliers and shops are getting fish with internal parasites. I have had to treat my tanks from it spreading.

Got sick of the wild trophs killing off each other and everyone trying to brow beat my 10yr unchanged prices down. But Ive been where you are. I lost about $5000+ in wild fish between two shipment of different thimgs from Greg Miceli at Little Africa Aquatics and fry tanks exposed. Spent $1,000's of dollars on bleach, new cleaning equipment and meds trying to get rid of it and finally did. Took over a year to get rid of it. Nothing waking up to dead wild fish every day for at least a year. I was stressed regularly.

spidy278 yes there is no circulation. The vapors in that stuff were still in the room on Friday. Ultimately creating a barrier suffocating the fish and getting into the water column.
