I love it how all law enforcement get suspended and put on the bench to do nothing and continued to draw their paychecks no matter how egregious their behavior. Can we get that for All American workers ?

Law enforcement’s culture needs to change by replacing leadership across the board. Their unions and the people that train them also needs an overhaul. Random audits should be don’t on a continuous basis.

Yep it's corruption and they sweep it under the rug which only makes him and his Co workers look more and more guilty and if the prosecution tries to retry Karen read for the same charges or different ones they're gonna lose the trial and look even more foolish.

He should be fired, lose his pension, and charged with willfully corrupting an investigation. This is NOT cleaning up the problem. This exact type of behavior of reassigning a corrupt officer like this perpetuates the problem. The head of MSP just condemned his behavior the other day and told the public the key areas that MSP are working on to build accountability, integrity, and trust of the public into their police force. This DOES NOT accomplish that. What a joke.
Any other employee would be FIRED by their employer to refer to customers in such a horrible way to other employees via text. And he is a public servant. Ha spell check tried to substitute punk for public!
I don't want to pay that man's salary. Or any of the other goons. Keep him on, and that shows that he's no different than the rest of the MSP -- except he got caught. And if Karen Read had been found guilty, he may never have been 'reassigned' at all.
He will probably get rehired with a raise. Other cops publicly condemn this behavior but privately encourage it.

Proctor was on desk duty. MSP knew EVERYTHING that came out during trial... MSP didn't fire Proctor b4 trial because that might "look bad" MSP HAS SUPPORTED THIS BEHAVIOR UNTIL THEY GOT PUBLIC PUSH BACK...
They "Allowed" him to resign, so he can keep collecting the Big Bucks, & work as a Trooper else where. Just saying

He’s protected by the Union. There’s a certain procedure that needs to be followed before he can be fired. Unfortunately, it’s a process. We’ll have to wait and see what happens with the internal investigation and the states POST COMMISSION (they handle allegations of police misconduct). He’s also part of a federal probe which is looking into the handling of the case.
