Thank You for Paul Reubens (1952 - 2023)

Pavel was the scariest villain on this show. He was so twisted. RIP Paul Reubens, thank you for giving us such a slimy, memorable villain.

Paul Reubens was a lovable protagonist his entire career until voicing Pavel. He finally had a chance to portray a villain and he hit a home run. Paul brought Pavel to life and made the character one fans could love to hate. RIP Paul Reubens

Fun fact: Pavel was voiced by Pee Wee Herman himself.

I truly can’t express how much I’m going to miss this man. Paul paul Reubens almost single-handedly made my childhood. I never realized how many characters he voiced. May he rest in peace 🙏🏿😔 R.I.P

Mr Choomah Honestly, I’d love to hear Paul Reubens play as Starscream in a new transformers tv series or movie. Maybe he could do it for the next TF movie after the Bumblebee film

RIP Paul Reubens.

When me and my family found out that Paul Reubens was the voice of Pavel we needed a moment to process it before my parents just laughed at the irony of Pee Wee being a villain. Rest In Peace, Paul Reubens.

My favorite Pavel moment is when he's trying to fight Beck who's flying the Dirigible but every time Pavel gets near Beck he just smacks him away like "Piss off, I'm DRIVING!"

Pavel is just so unlikable. He is just the sleaziest of sleazes. Tessler was more ruthless and sadistic but Pavel is still the one I hated more. His actor Paul Reubens is fantastic

I wouldn't say Tesler is sadistic as much as just angry, he'll derez or torture them out of rage, but Pavel truly is sadistic and tortures just for kicks

I think Paul Reubens did a phenomenal job voicing Pavel...the first few episodes I couldn't figure out whose voice it was, I thought it might have been Mark Hamill...he has moments where he veers into Pee Wee but for the most part he's very much more dark and sinister...

Paul Ruebens is an national treasure.

One of my friends on the tron discord was joking about how Pavel is the voice in their head, and keep in mind that they joke about eating cats, so here's how the conversation went: Me: I just thought "eat the cat" in pavel's voice Them: [sends this video at 1 minute and 10 seconds in]

hello programs, I have bad news for you all! Paul Ruben, actor who did pavel.... He passed away a day ago. Yeah, this is really shocking to hear! first Lance Reddick and now Paul Ruben. I am not sure what the future holds with tron uprising, and the question remains: Who will take Ruben's place in voicing Pavel?

I don't think we even will get a continuation of Tron Uprising. They stopped airing it probably due to not enough ratings and its been 10 years now.

Gorn's whole deal is that she can mess with the data on programs' discs, and its implied that Lomox was either intentionally changed by her or disfigured in some sort of accident, with the frozen grin being a side effect of damage done to his disc. So either she messed up when trying to change something on her own disc, (which has happened to her before, she wears an eyepatch to cover a massive hole in her head which she says was caused by a Code Worm she messed up with) or more likely that Pavel somehow did it to her to try and keep her in line, she was very dismissive of him in previous episodes and that probably didn't sit well with him.

Sometimes Pavel is a mood for me. Other times he’s annoying and funny.

Pavel from the clips I seen is tolerable, starscream Man in G1 he vase an annoying sack of SHIT!(the voice,perseverance,the show's constant clinging to him, made him unbearable he's voice sounds like a cat being skinned in hot water while using a Chalkboard as a scratching post. And modulation didn't help.)

What if Jared Leto is playing Pavel in Tron Uprising?
