Man that cut on the Tenorhorn solo in Mahler 7 was brutal

As a Kalinnikov appreciator, I appreciate the Kalinnikov.

I absolutely love the solo from Weill's 2nd symphony. One of the finest and most symphonic 20c symphonies imho. Beautifully played here. If you don't know Weill 2 - give it a listen - especially the slow movement!

Never expected to see An American in Paris, my favorite one. Thanks for puting it in.

I don't think that's a contra. It's the Bartok bass trombone that he invented specifically for this piece.

0:00 Is a double wrapped F bass I'm pretty sure. Contra's have valves.
