For anyone who didn't realize, the two Primordial Baboons and the Vessels are a Dark Souls reference, because of course this game has a Dark Souls reference

6:23 the line represents the combo. imagine the health graph in osu!, but instead it keeps track of how high your combo was instead the dots represent how accurate you are at hitting the notes (higher = more accurate/your cursor is closer to the middle of the note)

No. It is called Entry of the Gladiators and was composed by Julius Fučík. It was composed as military march, to be used at parades, not in battle. But it only became famous after it was sped up significantly and adopted as screamer march by "enertainment industry".

1:31 the system is so different 1. yes, you can just press forever and you will get perfects. but you will not get those combos, which will not give you big numbers which will give you low grades. 2. there is no hit window nor release window. instead, there's "how long you've held this note." that's why i sometimes call this game "hold release rhythm game"

As someone who played Trombone in high school for a little over a year before quitting, I can assure you there are probably more than 4 spiders in my trombone, wherever in my attic it is.

Definitely deserves to be rhythm game of the year

highly recommend the custom charts for trombone champ, they're hilariously fun to play

Just fyi @11:25 by “muted” it means it will sound like it’s being played with a literal mute, which basically just goes into brass instruments and changes the tone

A mute is a horn accessory, you see trumpet players use them. It basically looks like a cup they hold over where the sound comes out and it gives it a softer, quieter sound. Hope that helps 😊

I'm impressed she knew Chile. It makes me a bit happy since almost nobody does... That's a pretty rare country to confuse Mexico's flag with lmao.

I love this silly little game so much lol, I almost never get 100% achievements in games but I made an exception for Trombone Champ. Also the amount of custom songs out there is insane. Really looking forward to watching you try em out!

I've seen other people comment this but I was an annoying band kid and I'm adding on to it lol. Muted in this case means "dampened". A trombone player can put an attachment into the bell of the trombone to change the tone of the sound. A lot of trombone mutes come in different shapes and sizes to change the shape of the sound. Sometimes they're made out of different materials too for that same reason??? I think?? I was a clarinetist my brother was the brass player lol so my info is a lil second hand.

With the amount of fart jokes in this game, I’m pretty sure Mozart would love it lmao

yo im not sure if its been said but a muted trombone/trumpet refers to when you put a specific part into the trumpet opening to muffle the sound! so muted is just the dampened sound, not actually On Mute
