It ties back to the second where the water had a feel of kids blue glitter glue, the sand was glitter and that the dessert place was felt and cotton. I love how it all relates to arts and crafts.

Just for you to know... Branch was really a baby during the intro (perhaps around 1 year old). Don't forget trolls are born knowing how to sing and dance and have a much developed mindset (Tiny is a big example of that). In fact, in the past, Branch's brothers seem to be either teenagers (at least John Dory who was probably around 13/14) or preteens. I love this movie so much precisely because it focus on Branch, who is a much better main character than Poppy IMHO.

Branch is one of my favorite DreamWorks characters, completely agree with you on that. John Dory actually looked like he was about 20 in the flashback, so maybe around 40 by the present events of the third film. Branch my guess is at least 25 since he looked about 4 or 5 in the flashback when his Grandma got eaten, and the events of the first film take 20 years following the trolls escape. I estimate 1 year between the 1st and 2nd film, and confirmed 1 month between the 2nd and 3rd. There is an obviously big gap between him and his brothers so it seems logical.

@@carleeelders875 Actually, if John Dory was on his late teens (or 20) during the flashback, he would look more like his adult self. But, if you take a closer look, you will see he is actually quite young. For once, he is still not on his full size. Then, his face is rounder and has some soft traits. It's safer to assume he is at the beginning of his teenage years (around 13-14). That would mean he is on his middle-to-late 30s. Besides, it has been settled that Branch's brothers are on their 30s. And Branch is around 24 years (that has been confirmed already). Take one year (the gap between the two first movies) and then 20, he was around 2-3 years old (depending if she was eaten on the Last Trollstice or the one before) when his grandma was eaten. And even if that performance was his stage debut, he was already part of the band, with records of songs with him and the other trolls already knowing who he was, meaning he was around 1 year old when the band separated. That would mean he is around... 12-13 years younger than John Dory. That is still quite a big gap and enough to make his brothers to still treat him like a baby.

But Branch may have actually been around 2 in the Brozone flashback, since babies can't talk very well, let alone sing, at the age of 1 (unless that's a troll thing). They also aren't fully potty trained until about 3 years of age, so he's not too old to be out of diapers. Hence why he could be 4 when his Grandma got eaten. Depends on how long the time was when his bros left. He is wearing pants and his voice was not as high pitched. Maybe 5 is a stretch, he still was very small.

@@carleeelders875 Trolls develop differently. They were made to sing and dance, so they are born knowing how to do it right away. Not just that, but they have a different mindset, since they already have developed awareness. Tiny Diamond is an example. Another example is a baby country troll during Delta Dawn's "Born to Die". Now, Branch's age is up to debate. He is around 24 during World Tour and Band Together. Since those happen one year after the first movie (which happens 20 years after the escape from Troll Tree), Branch was 3 during the Last Trollstice. For what could be seen, Branch's grandma was eaten mostly like on the Trollstice before the last one, meaning he was around 2 years old. Since Branch still lived with his grandma for some time, he must have been around 1 year old when the band broke up. I know Branch didn't look like a 2 years old when grandma was eaten, but that was the first movie, when the other two movies were still to be developed. Young Branch on the first movie just has the model of the baby trolls that are with Poppy at the beginning of the first song. It's not near as identical as baby Branch from Band Together.

Trolls Band Together was definitely an improvement on its predecessors. The new writers did a good job at balancing the message, being the importance of family and communication (maybe relationship goals from Branch and Poppy), and the entertainment factors. It never got watered down by the constant jokes like before and I never had any "ugh this is so dumb" moments. The ongoing marijuana=ringpop joke I couldn't stop laughing at. That was freaking hilarious!🤣 IMO the movie was a little fast-paced, I didn't really connect with any characters, but it still was a solid movie. I liked it! I loved NYSYNC's new song "Better Place!"

YIPPIEEEE I’ve been waiting for this reaction 🎉🎉 I love this movie SO much. It got me back into trolls and it’s just so fun and sweet. Literally everything from Branch’s relationships with his brothers to the music and to the voice actors make me crazy about this film.

Solamente les falta el segundo especial navideño de los trolls Un dato curioso: La primera película de los trolls fue en el año 2016 y su primer especial navideño fue en el año 2017, su segunda película fue en 2020 y su segundo especial navideño fue en 2021 y ahora como en este año se hizo la tercera película lo más seguro es que para el año que viene hagan el tercer especial navideño de los trolls

I wondered how old the trolls were too. Cause branch is a baby in the intro, then he's a young kid when all the pop trolls are in the bergen troll tree when his grandma got eaten, then at some point after they escaped bergentown when poppy was pretty much a newborn, so branch is several years older than poppy. But the question is how much older

From what I’ve gathered, Branch is about 3 to 4 years older than Poppy. Both are considered ‘young adult’ so aren’t older than 25, which puts Branch around the 23/24 mark while Poppy is more around 20/21. This matches since Poppy was a baby during the Last Trollstice which put her at 20 in Trolls 1, and while the timeline is off since Trolls 2 and 3 take place a month apart, I would say there’s been no more than a year from Trolls 1 to 2. BroZone’s ages are less clear, but I did read John Dory and Floyd are 3 years apart, so the older siblings are almost like ‘Irish Twins.’ Branch is about 6 years younger than Floyd, which puts the age gap between him and JD around 9 years. So yeah, Branch was probably about 1 or so when his brothers left and turned gray when he would have been late 2 to early 4 to match with the timing of Trolls 1. Which would still put him in the pre-25 range and older than Poppy by about 3-4 years.

Between Branch's brothers, who is your favorite? My favorite is John Dory. Yes, he was the reason why BroZone broke up due to his obsessive perfectionist... But he did try to be a better big brother. It is not explained, but he regretted imediately leaving his brothers, but he kept going because he realized they were right about him and tried to change to be both a better leader and big brother, before trying to return. Yes, because he was the ONLY brother to ever return home, but since his return happened after the Last Trollstice, he found no one, leading him to wonder if Branch was even alive. Meanwhile, Spruce went on to build his own family (even if a very cute one; I mean 13 children... Wow...) and not even tried to reconnect with his brothers, including Branch and Floyd. I don't hate him for that, since JD actually made life on the band unbearable... But, come on... they are still his brothers... With Clay... well, if we consider he joined the Putt Putt Trolls and Viva wouldn't let him leave, I think we can forgive him. And Floyd... it's understandable he ended up not returning, probably out of shame for not being able to prevent his older brothers from going their separate ways. So... in terms of preference, to me is: John Dory - Floyd - Clay - Spruce (or Bruce).

But, as the oldest of three siblings, I can't help but relate with John Dory. I also know how stressfull it is to endure the pressure of being the oldest.

It’s hard to say because I really do think each of the four has valid reasons for what they did. Spruce/Bruce I actually have sympathy for since he is the second eldest. That means he had the longest time dealing with John Dory and having partial responsibility of Clay and Floyd, then later Branch. So I can see him wanting to be a good older brother, but would still be considered a ‘young’ brother by John Dory and had to follow JD’s lead for. I can kinda relate to the idea of being someone younger people look up to, but still not considered ‘old’ by others. But then, Clay is also a CPA, which is my career goal as an accountant 😅

Mt.Rageous people were the Betty Spaghetty dolls and the Island people were Anything Muppets. Movie was great though, I didn't really think much of it when I first saw the poster but it was great

The scene when the gang went through the hustleverse made me feel like I’m daydreaming and I’m glad they didn’t run into getting hit like a ball, cooked on a pan, or attacked by a giant bird. Ok why do you think I’m saying that? Watch the Unikitty episode called roadtrip ruckus and you’ll know what I mean.

The movie was pretty fun but 1) tiny didn’t do anything to help when he joined 2) the snack pack as in poppy’s friends were never seen again after Bridget’s wedding 3) even though she had a healthy communication with Branch after he walked out on his brothers, Poppy still gives me annoying vibes 4) the *NSYNC characters only had a 5 second cameo and the ending ends on a weird, lame note considering that it literally skipped over Poppy and Viva’s reconciliation with their dad for keeping Viva’s existence a secret. Imagine someone kept a loved one a secret, felt bad about it but never shown to apologize to them. That’s weird.
