But one specific moment of it was when they had their big fight towards the end and John Dory called him Spruce, so Clay ended up correcting him that it was Bruce, and Bruce thanked him

Yeah at first I had no idea if I should ship poppy and branch because poppy's been mistreating branch in some trolls the beat goes on episodes and yes the creek and cloud guy episodes are the worst examples not to mention creek and cloud guy are the most annoying characters in this franchise and yes branch's "friends" are always treating him like a slave in this with creek in season 1 episode 5b "creek week" while branch is so stubborn and smart to see how creek deserves zero mercy as he decided he'd rather see his friends die than die for them the other trolls including poppy forgive immediately with "no" hesitation how unrealistic and poppy tells branch that if he doesn't forgive creek for betraying troll village everyone he would wind up alone and of course simpler to how Marinette keeps trying to expose Lila as the manplitive liar she is in front of her "friends" branch trys 2 things to expose creek his first attempt is to send out a basket of cupcakes "surprise" for poppy and trys to make poppy believe that creek would eat all the cupcakes that were for poppy only to turn out creek was actually being "generous" to giving poppy the cupcakes that were supposed to be given to her by "someone else" his second attempt to expose creek is invite the whole snack pack along with creek on a journey to the river pretending to be in danger begging for creek to help him and when revealed to not be in danger he convinces creek to wander off all alone and while he starts to celebrate "by himself" the snack pack including poppy are accusing branch of his "danger" pretending being a way to trick creek when it's actually to expose him and they are all like the only troll person I forget what they specified with is himself what was he exposing himself as? Sure he kind of lied there but it was so he could expose a real lier (creek) and they are all like don't apologize to us apologize to creek once creek forgives you we will forgive you oh come on give him time to let his anger out he's still not over what creek did and what creek did was unforgivable and yes his friends ignore him and branch goes off "trying" to "apologize" to creek of course creek doesn't forgive him immediately but it was very off instead of being like oh I don't know if I should forgive you or not he's all like oh I can't forgive you and rather than giving himself time to think about it he makes branch get Time to think about singing his "apology" song and branch has 2 choices 2 either sing the "apology song" and reunite with his friends or decides to be alone at first he chooses to be alone he goes into his bunker takes down his "friends" posters and pictures he sees illusions of his "friends" including poppy and his poppy illusion says exactly what poppy in reality said to branch earlier in the episode "if you don't let go of anger and don't forgive you'll wind up... alone" so branch changes his choice and instead of his "friends" apologizing to him for believing creek's manplation he apologizes for trying to "expose" creek's true colors in season 6 episode 2b haircuffed poppy believes both creek and branch are wrong and somehow they manged to chain branch and creek's hair and force them to make attempts to "get along" and sense they can't release their hair themselves they fake getting along as well as faking to have common interests and while pretending to have a "permanent ceremony" poppy releases it was wrong of her to try to force them to get along I kind of put this episode above creek week because it has a better moral than creek week and finally forget the episode name and number and season that one were they plan on having a fist they insist creek the guy who "betrayed them" to bring the stuffing and while taking so long while the other trolls believe creek might be distracted or something branch the clever troll predicts creek is going to cause more manplation predicts what he is going to say when he arrives and yes creek arrives he says exactly what branch predict he would say and all the trolls excluding branch still believe creek is "innocent" and while it turns out creek was telling the truth this time still why believe the guy who "betrayed you" with cloud guy in season 1 episode 2b don't remember the name of that episode poppy keeps trying to force branch to like cloud guy like come on it's his opinion he hates him in season 1 episode 5a "cloudy with a chance of hugs" on hug day which I assume might be their version of valentine's day in this episode that is supposed to tell us on this "fictional holiday" you're only allowed to hug ONE troll and of course branch wants to hug his (crush) but Keith is suspicious about branch's feelings for poppy ahhh! 😠 I hate Keith I will explain later but anyway after Keith's suspension branch runs back to his bunker feeling too scared to ask poppy for his hug day hug and ahhhh! Cloud guy appears and of course classic branch is not welcoming him into his bunker and cloud guy steals branch's book and makes a deal about branch helping him get with his "girlfriend" and after the "test" and cloud guy gives branch back his book cloud guy decides to steal branch's crush (poppy) making branch jealous and yeah while poppy is "preparing" for hug day I guess cloud guy steals poppy in a fake table "romance" as well when he flirts with her he is like "my beautiful queen" and poppy isn't grossed out or even confused for one second she's just her classic cheery self and of course branch tries to sabotage the whole thing but poppy is very pushy in this sence because when cloud guy says that they are going to "bird mountain" don't get it's name though and of course branch is being sarcastic about saying he "loves them" the way poppy reminds branch that he's scared of birds she's really being rude she's all like "branch birds terrify you" it's a very bossy voice seriously poppy you could have been like "um branch don't birds terrify you"? And then when poppy needs to get through mud branch is such a gentleman to sacrifice getting muddy for poppy and building a bridge (out of his hair for her) she's not even emprised for a second she just pointlessly points out how she could have just walked around like seriously poppy! While I do like how you point out how if you can't go threw a mud just go around it seriously! Branch was making a sacrifice for you there shouldn't you appreciate him a little bit? Then cloud guy takes her on a "magical" ride poppy's all like "yeah I'm "flying" what the fuc*? You already can fly with your hair! The way you said it it sounds like you never flown before! What a pothole of course they make it to "bird mountain" branch makes an attempt to get there before cloud guy and poppy's "hug" "too late" then branch starts to beat this stupid cloud's ass which results cloud guy to rain on him poppy then asks him what's going on with him? He then explains how cloud guy "stole" his crush and finally confesses he wanted to give her his "hug" and then it reveals they tricked him! And when poppy and branch are about to "hug" Keith ruins the party ahhhh! Stupid Keith in season 4 episode 2b rainbowota can't remember it's name properly the snack pack are on a mission to fix the rainbow with cloud guy! Ahhhh! Cloud guy misunderstoods branch 2 times in this episode first when branch tells cloud guy to "get off" which he means get off of him he thinks he means "take off" and at the end of the episode when branch tells him to tells him to "leave him alone " he leaves branch by himself without the rest of the snack pack by his side when branch really means he wants cloud guy to get out of his sight! And yeah there was like no real plot for this episode the whole episode is revolving around the snack pack and ahhhh! Cloud guy having a "great time" at the rainbow and branch "fixing" the rainbow by himself the snack pack and cloud guy find out what branch was doing and then it's the time of where branch confesses to cloud guy that he will "never" like him cloud guy begins to leave but then poppy forces branch to start liking him! Seriously! poppy just like what I just said about season 1 episode 1b it's his opinion just because his aliment is good donsen't mean he has to like him and of course branch struggles to lie to cloud guy that he "likes" him and after his "friends" and this stupid cloud leave him alone on the rainbow it's unknown how branch got back down to troll village in season 5 episode 1a wormhole when they entered the world with many cloud guys they all are dlutied into laughing all the way while branch is able to stay out of it in that episode were branch for once donsen't overreact having cloud guy with him his "friends" act very angrily towards him and then cloud guy explains that branch made him upset because "he isn't upset" and yeah while they try to find another "rival" for cloud guy they end up having branch going back to hating cloud guy and yes poppy acts very angry about it and yeah those are everything of how creek and cloud guy are very annoying! And yeah there are times they are mean to him and creek and cloud guy have nothing to do with it

Oh my god, I'm using "trolly pop" forever now. Also the Winx Club vibe from Trollz makes me love it even more. That whole early Y2K era was just chef's kiss.

I think the “I love you” from the first movie was meant to be more nuanced than we think. Trolls are very emotionally open and have no shame about saying they love each other in a completely platonic context. Poppy ESPECIALLY is the type to say it to her platonic friends, and after Branch and Poppy say it, Poppy later says it to Bridget. We also get the hint that the romance between these two is one sided in the first film: Branch kept Poppy’s invites, is jealous over Creek, and generally protective over her. Poppy by contrast treats Branch how she treats ALL of her friends. The confession from Branch’s side was romantic while Poppy’s was platonic. Poppy misinterpreted the confession as something a friend would say rather than him saying it to confess his feelings.

What is with franchises with a teen girl audience getting into lawsuits? The pointlessness of the Trollz lawsuit and the tragic consequences reminds me of the W.I.T.C.H. vs. Winx Club debacle. Yeah, I did not see Poppy and Branch as a “slow burn”. That pause after the “and that’s why I love you” in the song before Poppy joins in feels very purposeful. Like she paused because she realized he was confessing. As someone who never watched Trollz, I feel like Amethyst could be ace.

I will say that having the rock trolls take over everything makes a whole lot of sense If you don't think of it as one genre of music trying to take over everything but what their fan base is represented through Barb herself. Because she believes no other music is real music and that's what hardcore rock fans do with their music. You play anything else and they say it's just noise and when Barb hears any other kind of music she thinks it's just noise. So I think it's perfectly represented.

Trollz' evil hypno spell is one of the most complex ones I've seen possibly. Like you don't turn evil instantly, it takes effect over time. Another thing---- it's hidden in a cookie. based on vibes and vibes alone i think Kaboom was just letting the girls cast weird spells on him cuz he's just kind of a freak. i think that becuz boy trolls don't get to use magic the way girl trolls do that he was curious enough to give them permission to cast their freaky sadistic prank spells on him. he's just a weird little dude who doesn't mind being the guinea pig for these girls. i fuck with him heavy tbh.

I wish I knew that as a kid that sounds like I would have so much fun. I discovered Trollz when I was little and my step sis and I rented a dvd from blockbuster, and I know we would have probably played naming our own characters.

Trollz was such a jam as a child especially the ending segments with the brother.

topaz was literally my favourite character growing up! she's so iconic! I even made her my theme a while back (I think last October??) the episode where Simon took over her body was my least favourite cuz I hated how he violated her like that and watching her puke him out was also not fun. onyx is also a top-tier character and the fact that I loved both of them growing up really explains my taste in women now.

I hoped she'd do this. Also, please do Lore videos for Gorillaz, Bratz, and Totally Spies. But Gorillaz first. Also, maybe she'll do a lore video for Winx Club or W.I.T.C.H

Someone has definitely brought it up but I have to add my two sense. Specifically about how trolls are always eaten/kidnapped. This is because they are actually…. Drugs.
