Fishing alone in an inflatable out in the open ocean is a feat. Fantastic work in landing the marlin. You the man, buddy. Love watching your videos. Islander here. Hafa Adai.

Been fishing in a kayak in the ocean for a good number of years now. All the east coast on cape cod I thought I was good. These guys on the Hawaiian islands are true fishermen. Crazy bastids with no fear and tons of respect for the ocean. I am greatly humbled by the fishermen out here. Great catch brother !!!! Incredible

Has a short bill like a Hebi but fins on back isn’t the same more like a blue marlin. My friend caught one like this recently also.

i usually head out midday, i know not the best time, out south shore side. what method would you recommend to catch the pelagics? i haven't had any luck, going consistently. on a west marine ru250, honda 2.3 hp. usually stay within 70 fathoms. your vids are inspirational! mahalo!!

On my short corner 3rd or 4th wake and long corner I put it just pass the prop wash where lure is in clear water.
