Imagine your waking up after thousands of years only to eventually you learn your are the only one left of your kind, then as if that wasn't a punch to the gut enough some humans attack you for no reason other than your big and you woke up and are unintentionally breaking things ,but the thing that really pissed you off is the fact they have the audacity and disrespect to taunt you with the fact you have no one by using the skull of your child and annoy you with bells.I haven't seen it in full,The troll king's rage and grief is justified in my opinion.and when he crushed the helicopter parts in his hands you see him saying "I won't hurt hem if i can help it... But I WILL HURT YOU for endangering them because that's what true kings do".

I don't know but Japan's self defence force handles monsters better. Edit:At least from the shin Godzilla movie tho.

Yeah we sometimes try to shot movies in two takes, one with English and one with our language, but this one was more to amuse ourselves with a monster movie, so it doesnt look like they went for the English take. However, we tend to rely on English audiences since Scandinavia is a tiny market, so its somewhat weird. I mean, this movie would have had some international market even if its based on playing with local folklore.

Ich habe diesen Film gesehen und war begeistert. Norwegische Märchen,Legenden und Sagen. Wer sagt denn das es so etwas nicht gibt? Ich frage mich immer folgendes :" Woher kommen denn die Mythen und Legenden und Sagen? Irgendwas muss doch dran sein. Denn aus reiner Phantasie entspringt so etwas nicht." Ich hoffe das irgendwann noch ein zweiter Teil kommt

Its a comedy take. Most of us (Norwegians) have seen Skull island, making this a fun insert. They fumbled a few things, like the father who would have picked up the kid instantly and ran with the child, not trying to shield the son from a falling heli, but its fine I guess.

The original troll movie was amazingly done, and I want to say it came out before the whole Kong thing. It's funny in that if someone observes a movie that has something similar, the instantaneously think it's been copied. That would imply almost every single movie that has come out has been copying movies prior to them, may they be military based or War based, creature-based whatever it is, they are all copying each other.

This movie was meh. Not shitty, not great. The kaiju vfx spectacle is quality but there's like nothing else to appreciate. It should have alot more mythological lore or a grand personified symbolism to have a unique cultural atmosphere of its own.
