I think Troels' career will be assessed in the future as changing the dynamic of 'lead and follow' in the history of Latin American dancing. A great dancer who possesses a very silent, yet powerful and effective lead! He is a true and worthy champion after the 21st century's era-defining names of champions like Bryan Watson, Michael Malitowski & Riccardo Coochi. Watching him and the immaculate Ina, is like watching ICE and FIRE - a pure, but also fiercely groundbreaking artistry in their performances.

He is leading by not leading. And yet he is very effectively leading. Ina is left to complete her own lady moves. This is his leading philosophy, which he has had for a long time. It is a very good one. It is Ina´s job to relate to him and to synchronize with him. She is very good. The fact that HE is near HER, creates emotional leading. This is often forgotten and overseen by other couples, with their strenuous leading and strenuous dancing. If you see "Sway" cha cha cha with Fred Astaire and Rita Hanysworth, he is a master of leading by not leading, often not even holding her directly, but his arms are "holding" her some centimeters apart, even when turning. It is fantastic, and a masterpiece. This also comes through in Troels and Ina´s Paso doble, see LAV Production channel from the Congress hall of Blackpool 2021, with a FANTASTIC Paso doble demonstration that received endless applause. He just starts the fight dance himself on his own, although very close to her, leaving her looking for a moment, and he continues, SHE has the job of following him, and relate to him. (Instead of man pushing or pulling or forcing the lady.) Ina knows what to do. She is very smart. The result is fantastic. They are perfectly synchronized.

Look closely at Ina. She is doing basic 10 classes higher than the rest of the lady competitors. (With the exception of Viktoria). She is SO smooth, completing her moves and look SO completely, she has spent the pandemic stretching out in the gym, no hard moves, just a perfect, perfect body and movement. And she has the spontaneity of the rumba. She is fantastic.

Out of the top three rumbas that I've now seen, they look the most commited, focused, and I daresay prepared. Troels has the attitude of a Champion here-relaxed but confident, competitve but enjoying himself and his partner at the same time. Well done!

They deserve the top spot. The #1 on Troels’ back says it all. 👏 ❤️

I think at the moment WDSF is stronger. I was not overwhelmed by this rumba. I have to admit I prefer Marina and Khrystyna Moshenskaya.

Ina is the star Ina in the best possible way, but -oh Dear! Troels Here is just out of this world. Love his leading style and couldn’t appreciate more how this Latin champion dancer is masculine on the floor. Reminds me of Fred Astaire and Frank Sinatra styles a bit. I&T my number one favorite Latin dancers 🔥❤️
