Larry King was honestly the one of the best interviewers. He was always willing to set his own beliefs aside when listening to his guests, but also question them in a very free-form manner with his own beliefs spiced in.

@@SallySkellington94Yeah and doing research and making your own cards and script to read off isn't cheating/lazy because having the script and cards to read off helps the show feel more organized and professional and takes less work from him to memorize everything he researched that could lead to mistakes.

Yes, it really was! I respect them both so much. Trixie just keeps expanding her empire. Success after success. She works hard and we benefit. Plus I can listen to her on youtube for days on end when I'm in a crafting frenzy.

I honestly didn't get that impression from Larry's interview with her. Possibly the one thing that stood out was when he asked Trixie if she had ever considered being transgender. He asked it matter of factly and Trixie answered it matter of factly and they moved on I found it refreshingly honest. Trixie clearly felt extremely comfortable the entire time.
I love that these two people from different worlds had a wonderful conversation! I especially love that Trixie got Larry to laugh/chuckle! I feel like he actually really enjoyed talking to Trixie. Plus, now he’s educated on tucking so there we go

Trixie does such a great job "walking the line" for my tastes. Solid advocate, a bit sassy and campy, but never over the top or off putting
5:28 might be my favorite part. When Larry asks about jealousy between “dragsters” and Trixie asks him if he remembers Showgirls and the pearls. You know damn well Larry had no idea this was a movie reference and was thinking of a Vegas show girl

I miss Larry, he was a great interviewer and his opinions were honest, something that you can't say of most of his colleagues.
Larry did such a great job with this interview. You don't need to completely understand someone to show them respect.
Trixie's Genuine laughing at some of the things Larry said, gave me life. This is clearly from a few years ago, based on what they mentioned as her accomplishments / the makeup itself but this was a Great interview & I'm glad it randomly popped up as a recommendation. Surprised I've never seen any clips of it prior :)

it's been one of the phases of her makeup a while ago, "eyeliner" is much smaller now. Her make up kinda has the same basic components but their size and angles change every once in a while.

Honestly, this interview has changed my opinion of Larry King to something more positive than it was before. I thought he was professional, didn't ask overtly homophobic or embarrassing questions, and maintained a good sense of humour throughout - even cracking a couple of jokes. Trixie was great as usual. Entertaining and well done. Thank you for posting this.

I absolutely love this. Larry has a straight forward interview style (and also probably a time limit) he's very calm and gets right to the point. Trixie is such a loud, colorful, humorous and confident person that loves to share stories and add comedic twists to everything. Such a contrasting pair yet I feel like both felt comfortable and lively in this interview. Everyone was respectful, funny, and interesting. And it wasn't like a Hollywood style interview it was very old fashioned and almost like an editorial but podcast style. Loved this!

This is the most lovely interview I think I've ever been privileged to witness. So respectful of eachother, so sweet, so much kindness between them and then when Larry called Trixie Honey at the end I nearly cried. That there was a good, kind-hearted man with an open mind who was always willing to learn.
It's killing me that Trixie is slinging these fun little references and jokes and they are just going right over Larry's little ol' head.
After watching UNHhhh episode 228 we now know what Trixie was thinking: "South Park got you good b*tch!" 😂
I love the respect they show each other. Trixie is so soft spoken and this particular interview really highlights her intellectual side. She shows a great understanding and philosophical perspective way to view the world and knows how to put it into words. Larry and Trixie really have a great dynamic here 😊
